Boost Purple/Cream Pearl is what you want in a Pearl ball. Control so that you will not have to throw hard just let it go and watch the roll.

Undeniable power on the backends! Have this laid out for skid/hook, and OH MAN does it ever!!! A ton of skid with just as much hook! Day 1, out of the box, shot a 300! Best bang-for-your-buck ball right here!

The Boost Pearl is a predominantly dry lane ball that gives great versatility to bowlers at every level of competition. It also performs well on the medium and medium-heavy typical house shot. With this particular layout, the S43 Pearl coverstock allows an extremely long look downlane and the Launch core provides a sharp entry angle off the breakpoint. Compared to the Boost Hybrid, the Pearl will skid farther and still have enough room to spool up and blast the pins. It hits the pocket so hard, I can't believe it's an entry level ball!

COMMENTS
Super clean through the heads and smooth ball motion. Back end is smoother than the Hook Pearl. I found the ball to do very well on transition. Either on transition, medium or dry this ball is sure to please. I was able to find great carry from any angle and definitely did not get any over-reaction. For those that found the Hook Pearl to be too early or too much on the backend, the Boost Pearl is definitely your ball. For sure this will be your dry lane ball!

This is my third BOOST I drilled this year, I drilled a 2 inch pin pearl and a 6 inch hybrid with lower pin placements earlier so I decided to drill a more aggressive layout with a higher pin with the new CARDINAL RED BOOST. This is a great all around ball for those bowlers just getting started with the game, also it will be a great ball for drier lane conditions too. It's a sharp looking ball rolling down the lane and with it's lower price point, this ball should grab some attention from your fellow teammates. Remember if you want to BOOST your scores without putting a hole in your wallet, get a CARDINAL RED BOOST and get performance in YOUR game.

About the Bowler

Cardinal Red Boost

Drill: Stack Label
Surface: Box
Description: The Cardinal Red boost is another great entry level ball for the 900 line. The Cardinal Red clears the heads as one would be accustomed to from the Boost line. It has more mid lane clearance than the original pearl Boost with the backend to match. My favorite Boost was the blue hybrid but this ball as the potential to pass that sooner than later. The Cardinal Red is a good low end ball for tournament and league players alike.

This ball has more value than any other that I have ever thrown. It is the most useful entry-level ball that I have ever thrown by far. I use this as my benchmark ball no matter where I go. The versatility of this ball allows for multiple angles and shapes. The pearlized coverstock allows it to get down the lane and save energy for the backend, where it turns way more than any other entry-level ball I’ve ever had! If you’re looking to get more bang for your buck, then this is definitely ball for you.

Drilled my Red Cardinal Boost stacked under the bridge. This ball is great when the heads dry up it will get through the fronts with ease with a smooth contollable backend. It is also good when you have alot of wet-dry conditions you have alot more control on back.Great ball for new bowlers that want to have a bit of hook but still have control.

BOOST CARDINAL RED PEARL
Drilling: 6 ¼ x 4 x 4 ¼ (Pin above Middle Finger)
Finish: Box Finish
Speed – 15.5-16.5 MPH
PAP – 5 1/4 & 7/8 up
I seem to have trouble clearing the front part of the lane when they break down and dry up. I have had success with this type of drilling on other balls and the Cardinal Boost is no different. Our boost series definitely is a great performance value especially for the price point. This ball is definitely clean and clears the front part with little effort. Has plenty of recovery and doesn’t seem to lose any hit regardless of how deep I want or need to go. Ball will be great for shorter patterns and late block tournaments. Also a great starter ball for those looking to move up from a House Ball or a Youth Bowler looking to buy his first “League Ball”, you will not be disappointed.

About the Bowler

This ball is perfect for a lower volume pattern or a THS. For being a low end ball, this is a great price point for those easier shots and once the pattern has broken down. I have mine pin above the bridge with the CG in the palm. It is super predictable and still turns the corner and goes through the deck, splitting that 8-9. It will definitely be my go to ball on those softer patterns.

About the Bowler

Red Cardinal Boost
Drilled: 85x5x25 Dual angle
5x6.5x1.5

This ball has more down lane length than the Boost Pearl. It has smooth back end continuation. The Red Cardinal Boost will be great for high rev player wanting more length and more controllable back end. Also, this would be a great ball for beginner bowlers. It works really well when the heads is burnt up. It is a great ball for sports patterns and medium to light oil conditions.

About the Bowler

My Boost Pearl has the same layout as my Boost Hybrid, I can play a little straighter with the Pearl, the Pearl reads the lanes a little later, but is also a little more angular down lane. I can't believe either of the Boosts are considered entry level equipment. They are both great even when the lanes are drier, after the transition. Melvin Pearson, 900 Global Staff Member

I have never been more impressed with a lower price point ball than I have been with the Boost Cardinal Red. This ball will give you the most bang for your buck of any ball on the market! This ball offers great hook potential on the wettest of patterns while getting better and better as the lanes become drier. With plenty of length and back end reaction this ball will score on the driest of conditions. If you are looking for your first resin ball or a ball that will demolish the typical house pattern all night long than you have found your ball!

Ball: 900 Global Boost (Cardinal Red)
Drilling: 4 x 5 x 4
Pap: 4 3/8 x ¼ up
Finish: Box Finish
Lane Condition: 40 Foot THS
Summary: The Boost was drilled with the pin above my bridge and the CG stacked with no extra hole.
Our boost series definitely is a great performance value. Here comes the newest edition, the Cardinal Red. The only other boos t I currently have is the blue black (drilled pin up) and I found that even with the pin down layout on this ball, the red boost gets down the lane further and has a very sharp reaction down lane. Clean and effortless through the front part of the lane, I was able to play this ball anywhere from 5 to 25 at the arrows on the fresh and didn’t lose any hit regardless of the angles played.
I look forward to getting to use this ball when the fronts are burnt as I do not think this ball will have any trouble getting through and retaining energy.

Low end? Whatever!!

Performance for YOUR Game is the name of the game. That is what the BubbleGum Boost delivers. 900 Global is providing a ton of ball at a very good price point. With the BubbleGum Boost you are getting through the heads super clean and still getting the backend reaction people are looking for. The Pearl gives you more of a skid/flip look but it is still an easy controllable reaction. You can use this ball on fresh but it absolutely shines when the lanes start to break down and you need that extra push to get through the heads and still get the recovery on the backend to carry. Another great piece made by 900 Global at great price point. Get you one and you will not be disappointed.

I would recommend this ball to a teammate and all of my close friends, unless you are going to bowl against me.
This ball is long and strong! This ball is the longest of the Boost line, but still retains enough energy to make a significant turn back to the pocket. I really like this ball on the breakdown, when everyone else is getting frustrated with their balls sitting on the headpin, I am still able to move left and extend the breakpoint to get behind everyone else's groove on the lane.

This ball is worth FAR MORE than the other at a similar price point. The hitting power in this "dry-lane" ball is significant and unmatched by other brands.

I love my Cardinal Boost!! I have my Boost drilled with my favorite drilling pin up. I have been able to use this ball on many lane conditions. From long to short. After 5 games on a 43ft pattern, I can open up & get the Boost to slam the pocket. I hope everyone has a Boost in their arsenal.

I like the color combination, the swirl looks neat rolling down the lane. It was a bit stronger than I expected for the price-point, but well suited for lower volume. It reminds me of the Tropical Heat, strength-wise. It's not what I would choose for myself to play straight up the boards when it's really dry, though.

When my HyRoad was moving a bit too early or hard, the Boost Pearl let me play roughly the same line with a little more length and it turned the corner a bit more patiently. It's smooth, but not lazy... an energetic but controlled arc going through the deck. I left the out-of-the-box surface alone, which was just fine.

I believe this uses the original Wisdom core. I'd be interested in a new S43 (Cardinal Red/Cream) with the Purple Jewel core. It's similar to the Boost/Wisdom but has a bit more pop on the back, which is not "better", just different.

What you get for the price-point makes this ball interesting - it has something for everybody. I've seen it work well with lower speed/revs, those with higher rev rates will like the smoothness and control. Once again, on lower volumes - you'd have to adjust the surface or use a different ball otherwise.
