Brunswick has release it new colors in the T Zone line this year. The Indigo Swirl looks very good. If you are looking for plastic ball to shoot those nasty spare or to have ball to have fun with when you bowl instead of using a house ball then the T Zones are what you are looking for.

The Brunswick T Zone Black Currant is a great ball for shooting spare or for someone who just want to own his or her own bowling ball. The T Zone comes in a variety of colors to choose from. The T Zones really look good this year they seem to have a more shinier look to them as compared to past years.

The T Zones are great for shooting at your spares. Brunswick offers a huge variety of colors and if you can’t find a T Zone that fits you, they also have a gigantic variety of vizaballs. There is a spare ball for anyone and everybody out there! A perk to the T Zone is that it has a Bullet core. Nothing big, but it’s just enough when you need something for extremely dry, unplayable conditions. This ball could give you a few more clean shots when everything else turns at 30 feet. Something to keep in the back of your head if you are ever scheduled to bowl last squad on wood lanes.

My younger cousin just joined a local bowling league and they actually had a deal on the Brunswick Target Zone Blue/Black/White bowling ball. He didn't have a ball, and I needed a spare ball so I picked up 2 of these at a great price for a pro shop. He uses it as his only ball ( he throws straight ) and I love it to pick up spares. A spare ball is needed if you want to bring up your average and this is a great one. It will go where you throw it and won't have much action. Pair this along with a nice ball for strikes and you will be in there. The only problem is that my cousin figured out these are non hooking starter balls and now he thinks he is good enough for a real ball. I have to teach him to hook the ball first then he can take the next step!

This was one of the best purchases I have ever made. I was at the point where any pins left to the right of the headpin were frustrating me. My 10 pin success rate went from just over 70% to between 93-96%. My score couldn't help but go up. The ball looks great doing it's job as well. The navy blue, gold and pearl look awesome going down the lane to pick up the spare. Thank you Brunswick for a GREAT spare ball

About the Bowler

This ball will not help you raise your average unless you can actually pick up a spare to begin with. The good thing about this ball is that it can hook when you need it to but if you dont throw it fast enough then it will grab at the end of the oil pattern and will hook, not alot but enough to make you miss a single pin spare.

So, I bought this ball because as a lefty, I had a terrible time converting 7 pin spares. Bought one of these and had it drilled up no differently than my Motiv Fatal Venom. I definitely got what I'd hoped for out of this ball, as with some practice, I'm converting over 85% of my 7 pins (pretty good for a hack like me!) However... while bowling on lanes 1 and 2 at our local house one league night, I noticed that during warm up, lane 1 was way too hooky for me. I made adjustment after adjustment and still couldn't get my high end balls to do what I wanted. Ended up using the T Zone solely on lane 1 and the Motiv Pride and Fatal Venom on lane 2 that night. Shot 716. As I said earlier, I consider myself a "hack" since having 6 back surgeries and my right (plant leg) knee replaced. I'm only about a 190 average bowler so when I can shoot 700, I'm a really happy camper. Just absolutely LOVE this ball!

The Brunswick T-Zone is an excellent spare bowling ball. This is my third one and I like how they perform. The only thing I have a complaint about is the colors. The sample picture doesn't look much like the real thing. The colors on my ball are a mixture of neon green, cranberry (almost a dark pink in some spots), and black with glitter in it. The glitter is what threw me off the most because you can't see it in any of the pics available. All in all it is very unique ball so I'm happy with it. Also, the deal was unbeatable. As a suggestion, I would recommend bowlingball.com show pictures of actual balls online so the consumer can gauge the real look them. I know the videos give a better idea, but there is not a video available for every ball.

About the Bowler

This was my first bowling ball and I love it. I bowl in a league and got tired of using the bowling alleys balls. One of my family members got me the ball for Christmas. I was so glad to get this ball for Christmas, it works fine for me because I roll a straight ball.

About the Bowler

This is a great ball. Left handers and two handers will do amazing. Right handers will struggle as the
ball runs light with the extra right handed force. This ball only has one release point. However the release point (hole location) is liquid gold.
This is a rare ball, because it does not wobble alot. The ball is stronger than the oil.

I have just started bowling regularly about 2 months ago, and was looking for a good first ball and I feel that I chose right with the T Zone. I throw a hook and having only used lane balls in the past i wanted a similar cover stock, so this was perfect. My average went up immediately from about 125 to 143. It also looks great.

I have a TZone in Black/Red swirl that is 10 lbs. This is my first investment on my first bowling ball, but I am ready for an upgrade. My averages (total game divided by 3) are between 90 to 126 (on a good night) and it's frustrating! This sure is better as a spare, which I intend to use it for, hopefully soon! I want to have a bit of more hook, and I can't seem to remember whenever I throw a strike, how that was or what I did to begin with. I have been doing my research and I guess I can go for the Slingshot as my upgrade, but I sure would love to have the Roto Grip Shatter! I will continue to bowl with the TZone, which I guess it's better for a beginner player than using house balls (yuck, germophobia here, lol!), and I will try and improve until I make the decision of getting the upgrade!

Bought one and got it drilled.
There's not much to review on the ball itself because it's a spare ball and it doesn't hook with a normal ball speed.

HOWEVER, the colour of the ball os identical to the picture provided on bowling.com and the brunswick website, unlike some balls such as the Marvel pearl.

AFter all, this is a spare ball that works well(that if you want to use it on drier lanes you can hook it and if you want to use it on medium-dry or oilier lanes it will not hook) and is in a very cute colour.

The colors are amazing, I have the patriot Tzone and it's just a very nice ball to look at. The finish is extremely smooth and glossy, it's and extremely fast ball. I purchased a heavier then normal ball to help compensate for speed deflection and couldn't be happier I did. I'm a straight shooter and this ball flies right into the pocket with no or very little hook.

This ball is a great plastic ball. The appearance (color) of the looks nothing like the pictured. Instead of the green hue the ball has in the picture, it is actually like the description says...red, black and gold. The ball is still sharp looking in my opinion, and something an adult would like. I wasn't disappointed at all.

Got the ball FASTER than what I was expecting. Was able to use it the next week on my bowling league. I am a "beginner" bowler and I hardly Ever get strikes. Well I got 3 strikes in one game and a bunch of spares. My average should improve greatly over the next few weeks. Its a shame that my league is almost over with. :( I love my Green Envy ball... which my bowling partners renamed it Poison Ivy. LOVE it.. Thanks Bowlingball.com

Since this is a starter ball for me, I can't really compare it to any other product on the site. All I knew is that it had a good price, and good reviews. So I went for it, and I've been bowling considerably better (than using house balls) since. I don't know if that's a testament to this ball being great, or house balls being crappy, but it has already started to pull up my average. My only recommendation is to bring it to a pro shop and have it drilled to your hand. I was using a 13lb house ball, but bought this ball at 14lb and found that I have much better control than I ever did with the house balls.
