What I Was Looking For In This Layout: This is the first 900 Global ball I've thrown. I decided to try an aggressive layout on this ball after hearing from co workers how aggressive it could be. I figured I might as well utilize the power this ball had to offer.
What I Ended Up With In This Ball Layout: Wow...This ball hooks. And I mean that in a good way. After throwing the first few shots with it, I was genuinely impressed. The ball motion was very strong and readability down lane was great.
I decided to see what this ball could do and how big of a motor it had inside. I moved as far left on the approach as I could get and threw it right. Honestly, it had no trouble whatsoever recovering back to the pocket. The one point that really stands out to me is how hard this ball hits! Some balls with duller surfaces tend to use so much energy down the lane that they lose power when it gets to the pins. Not this ball. The shape at the breakpoint is angular and strong. This ball has tremendous continuation through the pins.
If you have not had a chance to throw a 900 Global ball, I would highly recommend that you do. This company knows what they're doing and how to make a ball. This ball is a keeper for me and stays in my bag for the heavier oiled lane conditions. I'm looking forward to trying a few more pieces in their line. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for reaction on heavier oiled lane conditions, or if you want to try and shoot 300 to make some money!
