HART Offset Core - Right-Handers Only!!

With the introduction of the Hammer Hazard, Hammer is Proud to offer a unique twist to the HART core concept that provides more aggressive backend attack for right-handed bowlers. Developed by our team of design engineers, the HART Offset core changes the orientation of the pin, HART, and center of gravity locations on the ball in order to produce length and aggressive backend reaction for right-handed bowlers without the need for exotic layouts and weight holes. Unfortunately, the Hazard will not provide the same length with aggressive backend reaction for left-handed bowlers or bowlers with full-roller ball tracks.

The HART Offset core concept allows for more length and more aggressive backend reaction by placing the pin at 4 1/2 - 5 1/2" from the PAP (Positive Axis Point) and the HART well into the ball track.

The Perfect Scale™: Helping Bowlers Make Better Decisions. Because each manufacturer uses a different method for indicating a ball's hook potential, bowlingball.com developed a way for the consumer to compare bowling balls across all manufacturers.

i just recently got this ball and had it drilled for layout #1(long and a sharp breaking point..with an aggressive backend)...and man what a backend movement it makes. its nice to finally have a bowling ball to go the length and still have enough stored up energy at that has a little more aggressive backend to hit the pocket like a bat out of hell. this is indeed a great addition to my arsenal. out of the box i shot a 710 series my first ever...thanks hammer

I've been reading all the hype and message boards about this ball and I really wanted to be the only person in my house to have one of these, so I bought one to try it out. I have a Brunswick Ultra Zone and a Storm Sure Fire. I drilled this up to be more aggressive than the both of them. After the first 6 games I've bowled with it, I can definitely say that it is the most aggressive ball i have in my bag. Hits really hard too. So far, I'm still the only person in my bowling center to get one, but I don't expect it to be like that for long.

I think this is a great looking ball that rolls really good. As far as it being a right handed only ball, its all in your perspective. Any lefty can still drill it up, it just wont react the same exact way. Doesn't mean it'll be a horrible ball if a lefty throws it, just won't react as much. Watching the lefties bowl in my house, I don't seem to see lefties hooking the ball that much anyway!

I think I just lost a little respect for hammer. Unless I see a ball specifically engineered to help the lefties of the world! Why would they market a ball designed only for righties? Do the left handers really hold that much of an advantage??

UPDATE: The ball is for right handed bowlers only because of the pin and mass bias. Actually left handed bowlers could drill it if they had a good pro shop driller. It is more of a marketing gimick.

I am so glad that I found one of these. I threw this ball overseas in the FIQ earlier in the year and then had it stolen. I got a case of these. The ball hits like nothing that I have ever had in my bag before. Works well on later blocks and or clean backends.
