Through the haze and mist the next planet appears in the distant horizon. The icy blue planet of Neptune is the most distant planet in the Roto Grip solar system.

The newly designed Orbiter II core with an RG of 2.61 and a differential of .018 was developed to spin smoother and more even along its rotational axis while delivering gravitational shattering pin action.

The Sure Grip II pearlized reactive coverstock is the perfect mantle for creating less friction with the atmosphere while traveling along its orbital path.

Once again Roto Grip delivers you the ultimate in price versus performance with its newest planet series ball.

This ball has a weak cover, a high RG, and not much of a differential. This is a ball that is good for the driest of lane conditions. It goes long and needs a whole lot of dry to react. I do not play it where there is virtually any oil.

This review is on a great ball from Roto-Grip, the Neptune!

In my opinion, there isn't a better ball on the market for light oil conditions. This ball glides through the heads with ease, and makes a very controlled move on the backend. With that being said, unless you have a lot of trouble hooking the ball, I would still drill this ball with a pretty weak drilling for use on light oil. While it's great on the dry stuff, it's still reactive resin and has a good core in it, so don't drill it too strong. But if you're having trouble on the dry, the Neptune will get through the burnt up heads as easy as anything out there!

Thanks Roto-Grip for another great release!

I recently drilled a Roto-Grip Neptune for a customer. He was looking for a ball for drier lanes conditions. So i layed with the pin a 1 o'clock and the cg in middle of the grip. The reaction he got was very clean thru the heads, read the midlane well, gave him a smooth reaction on the backend and hit with a punch. It was exactly what he was looking for. I would recommend the ball to anyone who is looking for a ball for light to drier lane conditions.
