This ball is EXTREMELY rare. We only have a few left. Due to the acquisition of Track by Ebonite International, the release of this ball was canceled. However, there were a few that made it out of the San Antonio plant.

Another solid ball release from Track. The Phoenix introduces Track's Ascent core combined with their DSR (Dura Soak Resin) coverstock. We drilled our Phoenix with the pin 4" from the PAP with a 1" x 2" hole located on the PAP. We use this drilling to keep the ball stable through the heads while storing up enough energy to still pop on the backend.
The Phoenix did just what we expected it was clean throughout the night in the heads and maintained plenty of backend motion. The ball was a little sensitive to oil down, but a stronger layout should fix that quickly. Overall the Phoenix was a little weaker than our Power Machine but still will find a place in our bag.

The Track Phoenix bowling ball was Tracks last ball before being bought out by Ebonite. I decided to go with the 'Rico' layout on this one. With that said, the pin lays in the middle of my grip, about 5 1/2" from my PAP, CG of 45 degrees, and X hole beneath and to the right of my thumb. Shot 764 with it the first night go. Satisfies the length of the Power Machine, with more backend than my Power Machine. Because of this, I had to play much deeper(36 board), than usual(24 board) Perfect for heavy oil.

The Track Phoenix may have been the fish that got away. I managed to get my hands on one and I could not believe the reaction. This ball hook more than anything in my bag. It still got down the lane and was very controllable. Just a dream. I LOVED IT. If you ever find one, BUY IT.
