Before we drilled this ball we heard that it was going to be strong and based on what we had seen from the original Action we did not doubt it. We used a very simple 5" x 5" layout on this ball and kept the coverstock as it came out of the box. The first night out I was amazed at not only the ball reaction but the versatility of the ball to adjust as the lanes started to break down. The Low RG core really allowed me to go anywhere on the lane with this ball no matter what was out there. The amount of angle created on the backend and the way the ball finished through the pin deck made the carry as good as it gets. In all the games I have thrown so far I have not seen this ball quit on the backend. It has got to be one of the strongest and most versatile balls I have seen in a few years.

I started bowling about 9 months ago. I averaged 125 in a league about 6 months ago and now I am averaging 156. Yesterday I shot a 237 and a 600 series with the Columbia Action Packed bowling ball. It is awesome! It hooks just as much as advertised and maybe more. Carries very well; I would buy it again.

My Columbia Action Pack is 16 lb. with a 2.5" in. pin and 2.5 oz. top. I drilled this ball leverage (pin 3 3/8" from PAP just below the fingers) which kept it static weight legal without a weight hole. With the factory polish it had an over and under reaction but after sanding with 2000 abralon pad it was great. It is very predictable and reacts predictably when I make lane adjustments which generally seems to only be very small adjustments: 1/2 to 2 boards on the approach and 1 on the lane and 1- 2 feet in depth down the lane. It's very strong in the pocket reading the oil well and carries multiple pocket entry angles. I improved my best ever full league average from 214 to 220.

I bought this ball about 2 months ago. I had the pro shop guy drill it up for me to go straight up 10 and snap on the back end. I keep it polished up every week and always make sure to wipe the oil out. This is a great ball and pushes down great.

As a long time Columbia bowler, the Columbia 300 Action Packed is the best ball in the Action series. It has a smooth consistent hook and a low center of gravity that creates great pin action.

The Columbia 300 Action Packed bowling ball is awesome. The best all around ball on the market. This ball can be played from anywhere on the lane. It helped bring my average up 20 points. If you buy this ball you might not go back to any of your old balls.

I purchased the Columbia Action Packed bowling ball in the fall of 2006. The last 3 weeks in a row on light oil condition lanes, I threw three 600 sets. This ball finishes nice with great pin carry, on light oiled lanes. When I use this ball on heavy oiled lanes and or lanes oiled long, the ball goes long and never comes back. This is a great ball for light oil conditions only. I just ordered a Storm Domination for heavy oil. I can not wait to try it out.

On a bowling alley with heavy oil conditions the Columbia Action Packed bowling ball doesn't turn as much as I expected. A regular house ball I can turn just as much as this one. A lane with low oil...this ball will turn and hook like nothing else. Definitely cannot find an equilibrium.

I love the Columbia Action Packed bowling ball! Point blank, I mean my average has jumped 30 pins since I got this ball and got use to it. This last weekend I bowled a 268, the week before I bowled a 267, and I'm only 15. So what does that tell you. When it's rolled right it's hard to stop. In the tournament my average was 171 over 21 games. So if you want a ball with a lot of hook this is the one.
