If you're ailing on dry lanes the Doctor is in! This latest entry level two piece reactive is the Dr. Jekyll. This type of performance has been a benchmark in the Columbia 300 line for many years. Dr. Jekyll will give you great length and then a strong turn or "flip" on the backend of the lane. It's perfect for today's drier conditions.

The Perfect Scale™: Helping Bowlers Make Better Decisions. Because each manufacturer uses a different method for indicating a ball's hook potential, bowlingball.com developed a way for the consumer to compare bowling balls across all manufacturers.

I've had the Columbia Dr. Jekyll bowling ball for a while and gave it a shot in the beginning, but I had to take it out of the bag. It has a nice controlled baby hook on the back end but it's horrible if there is any oil on the lanes. Reacts better on wood lanes rather that snynthetic. I would recommend the Visionary Immortal as a better alternative. This bowling ball was very upsetting.

The Columbia 300 Dr. Jekyll bowling ball is inconsistent. The lane conditions are a huge factor when throwing this ball. Lots of skid and if you are a high rev bowler forget any type of reaction. I have retired mine. This ball would be great for a beginner but not much of a weapon for a tournament bowler. I got the ball as a gift and I think it's a gift that needs to be given to someone else.

My first game with the Columbia 300 Dr. Jekyll bowling ball was a 290, I used it all last year. This ball revs up very easy and is very predictable. If there's oil or carry down though, put it in the bag!
