About a year ago I was in a major slump in my league so to cheer myself up and add a boost of confidence I thought why not go out and buy a new ball. After staring at the Ebonite Xcel Pearl bowling ball trying to decide between it and a couple others I broke down and told them to drill it. Later that season I bowled my first 300 only to follow that up with a horrible game because I was just so excited to have bowled a 300. In the summer league to follow I scored my first 700 series. This ball is very predictable. Has excellent back end and has excellent length.

The Xcel Pearl has greatly improved my average. My old bowling ball was outdated, so I looked for a ball that fit my style and this was the one. My average has risen by 40 pins after just one week's use and I'm very happy with this ball. Highly recommended. A buddy at the lanes used the same ball to bowl a 300.
