It's time to turn talent and technology into Profit! The Profit is designed specifically to be clean through the front and rip down the lane. The new 900 Global Profit!

The Profit builds on the success of the S70 coverstock made popular by the Break and Break Out bowling balls. The Profit Pearl coverstock combines the S70 with a totally new core design from 900 Global which promotes a ball motion which starts up midlane and retains energy through the pins. This midlane motion and ease at which the Profit gets through the heads provides bowlers with a strong reactive ball which promotes flexibility to ones arsenal on a variety of lane conditions.

The Perfect Scale™: Helping Bowlers Make Better Decisions. Because each manufacturer uses a different method for indicating a ball's hook potential, bowlingball.com developed a way for the consumer to compare bowling balls across all manufacturers.

Turn A Profit Like No Other with 900 Global's Profit.

Pin to PAP(5 1/8" over 1/8" up) - 5 1/2" above ring finger
Mass Bias Position - 5" from PAP
CG Placement - center of grip
Balance Hole - n/a

Surface Preparation - Out of Box (Polished)

What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
I was looking for a smooth ball motion that would not get jumpy as it read friction. My thought was that this would be a good compliment to the Bank from 900 Global. This layout would allow the ball to still be aggressive but not over react in any part of the lane.

The 5 1/2" by 5" pin/mass bias layout allows the ball to generate a good amount of length and still recover but not too much.

What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
I ended up with exactly what I wanted. The Profit cleared the heads very smoothly and just got through the middle part of the lane without jumping as the lanes broke down. Once the ball came off the break point it reacted plenty and continued very nicely through the pins.

I think the Profit does serve a great purpose as a compliment ball to the Bank. If you wanted your Profit to react stronger on a fresh pattern I think a little stronger layout and maybe a cover stock tweak would give you what you wanted.

All in all the Profit is another great release and addition to the 900 Global line up.

This is 900 Global’s high performance compliment to the Bank. It is cleaner up front but still has the distinct asymmetric ball motion. Go out, pick this ball up, and watch your Profit soar.

I drilled up my Profit roughly 5 ¼ x 4 ½ with the pin just above my ring finger and no extra hole. This is the same layout as my Break Out. I chose this layout to see how this ball would complement the Break Out. I really like the ball motion the Break Out gives me and I was hoping for the same look downlane but longer. This is almost exactly what the Profit gives me.

The Profit is very clean through the fronts, reads the mids stronger than I expected, and is very continuous on the back end. I expected this ball to be a little more skid flippy like the Break Point Pearl, but the Profit is a little smoother off of the friction and much more continuous.

The first time I had a chance to try the Profit was on a relatively long house shot on AMF HPL’s. I was able to start with my Break Out, and then transition very smoothly into my Profit. It gave me a cleaner look through the front with a similar motion downlane and through the pins. I also had a chance to use the ball on a lighter volume house shot on Pro Anvilane. The Profit gave me something no other ball I had could. It cleared the fronts, gave me room right, and continued through the pins better than I ever would have guessed.

To sum up the Profit so far I would say it’s the perfect step down from the Break Out. It provides a similar look downlane with an extra five to ten feet of length. A perfect medium condition ball.

The Global 900 Profit is a great ball for someone looking to create more angle down lane. The S70 cover is extremely clean through the fronts which allows the ball to retain energy till it gets to the end of the pattern. Higher Rev players will see alot of use on many different patterns where tweeners and strokers will love this ball when patterns start to transition. Another great ball by Global 900

The 900 Global Profit is a good ball for medium to heavy lane condition. The Profit will be clean thru the fronts, good revving in the mid-lane with a strong continuous movement on the back-end.

900 Global Drilling Pattern Selector

In order to accurately determine a drilling pattern and final ball surface, you must first identify your personal bowling characteristics; these three key factors must be determined.

  1. Bowlers Ball Speed
  2. Bowler Rev Rate
  3. Bowlers Axis Angle of Rotation
Chose the number below in each category that best describes your bowling style.

Step 1:
  • Ball Speed 1 = slower, 2 = average, 3 = faster
  • Ball rev Rate (RMPs) 1 = cranker (18 or more), 2 = tweener (13-17), 3 = stroker (12 or less)
  • Axis angle Rotation (side roll) select from one, two, or three
Axis Angle Rotation
Step 2: Total your numbers up from ball speed, rev rate, and axis rotation. Use that number to select your drilling pattern.
Step 3: Layout must be based on your Positive Axis Point, illustrations are all based off a 5-1/2 over PAP.
Step 3: Choose your lane condition.
Step 4: Adjust surface.
