About the Bowler

Another great ball with this core. Has very good length for a pearl ball and enough action to pull back to the pocket even on miss-throws. I found this ball to have a very even roll when you let the ball do the work. If you want to crank it, it responds with a violent snap on dry back ends. Don't forget that most bowling balls are condition specific. If this ball doesn't work for you on a particular night, then change equipment or your bowling style. More wrist, less wrist, make adjustments, change your target.

About the Bowler

Not sure what the previous reviewer was thinking of when he wrote his review. Seems that he did not own one of Hammer's "The Deal" ball. Out the box it was long, smooth and finished strong. In 2005, I rolled two 300 games 8 months apart. I couldn't tell you how many times I sanded or polished the ball in between perfect games. Looking forward to seeing Hammer put more balls like this back on the market.
