PAP    4 1/2 over 1/2 up
Recently drilled a Storm Secret Agent for a customer. She was looking for a ball with more reaction than her switch blade.I layed the Secret Agent out with the Pin 4" from Pap and put the cg about a 1" off of center of grip (no extra hole required). The reaction that she got was clean thru the heads, good mid lane and a strong back end reaction.I would recommend this ball to anyone who is looking for a ball for light to medium conditions

The Storm Secret Agent bowling ball is absolutely amazing. I never threw the ball directly out of the box, so I can't comment on that. However, I took it to my pro shop and had it sanded with 500-grit Abralon. The first shot I threw, it over-hooked by about 15 boards, it was ridiculous. Next shot, I went 10 boards left(I'm right handed)and I destroyed the pocket. You will definitely have to hit this with some polish if you're a cranker. This ball is perfect for a tweener like myself, because it hooks a lot, and is still very controllable.....GREAT BALL!!! Did you find this review helpful? Yes No

This put the pin under my middle finger.

What I Was Looking For In This Layout: I went with my favorite layout. I wanted this ball to

react evenly as I wanted it to be the first ball out of my bag, my benchmark.

What I Ended Up With In This Ball Layout: Exactly what I wanted and more. To say that this is my benchmark ball would be selling the Secret Agent short. I throw this ball on everything but extreme dry.

I've had many balls in past that I would consider 'condition specific,' meaning that the ball needed the right condition for it to shine. Well the Secret Agent, for me, is the complete opposite of condition specific. I've never had a ball that I've seen so many different reactions out of. On everything from Heavy Oil to medium-dry, this ball has been all I could ever ask for. The Secret Agent seems to change its reaction according to what is needed on a certain condition. So I guess you could say, for me, this ball reads the lane better than anything I've ever thrown.

I know I've put the Secret Agent on an extreme pedestal, but

I believe that if you try one, you won't be disappointed! It may not be the all-around monster that it is for me, but the Secret Agent will definitely find it's place in your bag. And if you're like me, your heart.

Thank you Storm for continuing to be 'The Cream of the Crop'!

I am a 215 average bowler and I just bought the Storm Secret Agent and had it set up with layout 3 with max flare. I bought this ball to play between 15 and 20 and slide out to 10 and back this ball just has no chance of making it back . I had to throw this ball straight up 10 board in order to get it in the pocket on a med to heavy oil pattern! This ball is weak!!! Did you find this review helpful? Yes No

The Storm Secret Agent bowling ball has done wonders. I've been bowling for about 2 years now. My first high end ball was an AMF Radar Alert, with this ball I had an average of 151 in league on a medium-heavy oil pattern. When I finally decided to go with a new ball a friend recommended the Storm master line. I'm a low rev bowler so I had my Secret Agent drilled with layout #3 for maximum performance - no balance hole was required. My first few games were a little low since I'd never used a ball with this much hook to it. After moving over about 7 or 8 boards the ball began hitting like a truck. My average has jumped from a 151 to a 207. This may sound pretty unbelievable but this is the perfect ball for a low rev player. Also this ball forgives a lot! Did you find this review helpful? This ball is AMAZING!! Clean through the heads, and great midlane and backend reaction on all kinds of different patterns. I have not found a pattern that this one hasn't reacted well on. its even better when combined with the special agent in your arsenal. A must have for all bowlers that want to greatly improve their game. Did you find this review helpful? Yes No

The Storm Secret Agent bowling ball is very interesting. When I first bowled with it it was polished and was very sensitive to oil and dry. What I mean by that is when it went in the oil it made my spare ball look like it was hooking but when I threw it in the dry it jumped through the nose. So I sanded it to 2000 grit and now it's great. It is very predictable and has a nice smooth arc throughout the whole lane. It worked best for me on medium-dry lanes. About the Bowler

Bought the SECRET AGENT on sale, looking for a strong hooking ball (hook score of 196). I am a low to medium rev bowler, but throw the ball at 19 mph. This means that I have few hook revolutions because of the speed the ball is traveling. I wanted a ball that would hook ASAP and hook a lot. Right out of the box the ball surface is 4000 grit and provided me very little hook (about 3 boards). After many games I had the ball plugged and re-drilled for a max hook based on exact PAP on this ball. No change, only a 3 board hook. Using 1500 girt ball polish, I polished this ball 5 times over a series of many games still no change. I finally used 220 grit sandpaper and resurfaced this ball – I now have a 10 board hook. Now it has so much surface friction that it is picking up oil off the lanes like a magnet. I have to wipe the ball after each throw with my BowlingBall.com microfiber towel. Secret Agent has always had great pin reaction and pin carry I have even got a strike without even hitting the head pin (totally missed the pocket). Bottom line you might have to resurface to get a hook if you are a low rev / high speed bowler.

do you want something weak ball for med-heavy oil? this is perfact for you. even my T-road pearl, anger hook 5-7boards more than this ball. if resurface it 800-1000 grit, it might work little better than OOB on med to heavy oil condition Did you find this review helpful? Yes No
