WOW I'm a youth bowler and this is my first year bowling seriously I had a Storm Fired Up and when I needed a new ball I looked around and this one seemed to match well. My first game with it I had one open on the first frame and got a 214 (my average is 168) after that I rolled a 229 and 211 so far this ball is good and stays sharp when the lanes break down.

THIS BALL IS GREAT FOR THE PRICE. JUST GOT BACK BOWLING AFTER 7 YEARS AND ITS MY FIRST NEW BALL SINCE THEN. VERY FORGIVING WITH LOTS OF PIN ACTION. I'VE THROWN IT FOR THE PAST 3 WEEKS OF LEAGUE I'VE ROLLED 644,645,684. IT HAS BROUGHT MY AVERAGE UP 5 PINS SO FAR. AWESOME PRODUCT.

IT HITS LIKE A TANK!!! It\'s the perfect ball to throw straight up the second arrow and crush the pocket, but you can also swing the lane, I\'m a 160 average bowler and my first game with it I threw 213. I would recomend it to anyone.

The Venus is considered to be a low line ball in Roto Grip's arsenol and is also one of cheapest bowling balls around. So when I got it drilled I wasn't expecting to much from it except to maybe be a go-to ball on tough lane conditions. I was very wrong. After league was over one night I pulled it out to throw a few games with it just to see what it could do, here are those very first games with the Venus: 211, 269, 233, 225, 216, 237, 215, 259. Not too bad for being the first time I've ever thrown the ball. The ball reaction that I get with the Venus makes me think it is a high-end ball and the carry is unbelieveable. After throwing it that night I had one of the league bowlers come up to me and ask me to have our pro shop operator order him one. I wasn't expecting too much with the Venus, but what I got was another solid optionin my bag that can help me tremendously on the lanes.

This is a great ball for me. I am a senior and average 185. Got a 14 lb Venus 3 weeks ago and it is a winner. Shot 638 last night (212,211,215). Lanes broke down after game 1 but didn't affect the Venus. Same shot all night long. Great ball, if you're considering Venus, buy it!!
