great looking ball this ball lookslike gold going down the lane greatspare ball also looks great on yourdesk at work so if you need a sparefor the big money go with the gold mike seymour ormond pro shop

Sometimes there isn't much that can be said about a spare ball, but with this ball that's not true. The Golden Globe is a great looking ball and ever since I've started throwing it I have everybody around my lanes coming over to check it out and they always comment on how cool it looks. As good as it looks that's not the reason I like it so much. I was having problems with my previous spare ball because I like to put some hand into my spare shots and my old spare ball would often hook and I was missing a lot of easy spares. Well, since I got the Golden Globe I haven't missed much of anything and my friends have even started to jokingly call me "Dead Eye". The ball is very predictable and will stay on whatever line you throw it. So if you are looking for a spare ball that you can trust and also looks extremely nice, then this would be the ball for you. This is the best spare ball I have ever owned and I would recommend it to anybody.

Ball specs – 15 lbs 1 oz, 2.00 top weight



This is another great looking and innovative polyester ball offered by Roto Grip. You will be answering the “What is that ball?” question many times over when other bowlers notice it in your hands.



The Golden Globe was drilled over the label and was left in OOB condition. It goes pretty straight for a clear polyester cover. It will see action as a spare ball and for very dry conditions when the entry-level performance balls are too strong.

This ball has a very good cover, very slick and hard, so it hits the pins hard too. Apart from this not much to add, except that you do get noticed in a bowling alley. It does attract attention, so do not use it if you are not good on spare :-) Highly recommended.

After a year of bowling with out a spare ball for over a year. I decided to get this ball after watching someone throw it. When people say spare balls are all the same, hasn't thrown one of these. Not only does it look great going down the lanes it also hits like a mack truck.

my spare hitting has improved tremedously. If you have the chance to get this ball, I say go for it. You will not be disappointed.

I was using a high performance ball drilled for spares as my spare ball before I got this ball. This ball is A great ball, Great looking, and Has absolutley no Curve when you throw it, so watchout! This ball rolls straight! Im still working with it getting use to a ball that rolls so straight, but im sure when I get the hang of it I will love this ball.

What a cool looking ball!

The most attactive hunk of plastic I have ever seen. I hope every bowler gets to see this close up in person because it is really cool.

I drilled one for a customer last weekend. He was looking for a new spare ball that was a little different from your normal t-zone or white dot. He was happy that he got this ball as it looks great and does what he wants it to do and that is go straight for shooting spares.

This review is on an awesome spare ball from Roto Grip, the Golden Globe!



The first thing one notices about this ball is its looks. The pictures online DO NOT do this ball justice! This is the coolest looking clear ball I think has ever been produced! Who wouldn't want to hold the world in their hand! Especially a shiny, golden version! The other great thing about the Golden Globe is that unlike most clear balls that would tend to overhook, this ball is a true spare ball! Your days of missing the 10 pin are over! Get a Golden Globe!
