Over the years this layout has been called everything from Axis Leverage to Stacked Leverage and even Peanut Butter Weight(as a joke). The truth is, it does not matter what it is called as long as it is laid out properly in relation to ones Axis (PAP-Positive Axis Point).

To position the pin 3 3/8" from the PAP is the maximum leverage position when laying out a ball. When the pin is placed at this distance from the PAP the ball will have the potential to offer maximum length and maximum backend resulting in the strongest possible ball reaction.

In this case we take the leverage drilling a step further by also placing the Pin, Center of Gravity and the Weight Hole 3 3/8" from the PAP in almost a tri-angle fashion.

It looks like their is a fairly high chance the track will pass over the weight hole - 2 1/4 inches is usually suggested for that reason.
