The Onyx Vibe pairs up with Hammer's reliable Vibe symmetric core with a new CT Reactive Plus coverstock. The Onyx Vibe will give bowlers a ball motion that hasn't been in the Hammer line for quite some time. This is by far the most aggressive Vibe made to date and bowlers will see a very aggressive arc throughout the entire lane with this ball.

The Perfect Scale™: Helping Bowlers Make Better Decisions. Because each manufacturer uses a different method for indicating a ball's hook potential, bowlingball.com developed a way for the consumer to compare bowling balls across all manufacturers.

Great addition to the Vibe line. First game out of the box was a 247. Very strong movement once it clears the midlane. I you love the Vibe line, this is a must have!!!

This is a great ball it does give you the length through the mid-lane and great reaction on the back side. If i was tought to bowl using my thumb when i started and haven't used a spare ball for 2 years it would be alot better, but on those few throws that i do get right the ball goes right in the pocket giving you a strike almost everytime. off to learn how to bowl for real now...good job vibe yall made a great ball

I had an Emerald Vibe that I had previously purchased, and when I bought the Onyx Vibe I wanted a similar reaction but slightly more aggressive. I used the drilling no. 3 for a medium track, which puts the pin next to my ring finger. First game out of the box (206), I was surprised at the strong reaction on the backend - had seven strikes but a couple splits before I moved into the oil. Second game, seven more strikes, clean, 234. Continued to move in, shot 300 last game. I am left handed, medium speed and revs, 227 average. Did not leave any seven pins for all three games. This is a great ball for league conditions.

i like the ball and what it does , but i'm leaving a lot of 10 pins and i'm having trouble picking them up . i need a hard rubber or plastic ball that doesn't break so hard at the back end. could you suggest one .? van man1942 thank you

I bought the Vibe as a ball to use on medium oil conditions. I have a 188 average and I am happy to say on my 5th game with this ball. I bowled a 299. If my knees weren,t shaken so bad,I probally would of bowled my first 300 game. I would highly recommended this ball. This ball has excellent hitting power. It is like they say: Nothing hits like a Hammer!

I bought the vibe on a recommendation from a friend I bowl with. I am a left handed casual bowler that bowls 2-3 days a week non league. I am now averaging in the high 190's throwing 3 of 4 games I bowl in the low to mid 200's.The vibe has taken awhile to get used to. LOTS OF HOOK!!!!! I am having problems with my 7 pin. Overall, I am happy with the impact it has when light in the pocket. I absolutely recommend this ball.GREAT backend finish.

Great ball for the money. I was averaging around 135 with a house ball. After owning this ball for about 4 months and usiing it about 10 times my average has jumped to a 195. Great ball! The ball shipped and was at my door in 3 days. The only thing I noticed is that the ball is not quite black. It's almost dark purple with sparkles. Does not look like the pic on the website.

I just got this ball yesterday and I had it drilled with the rico layout. I was looking for something that would have a strong arcing movement, good midlane reaction, controllable hook, and have that strong punch when it hit the pins and that's exactly what I got. I used this ball on Medium-Light oil and this would just have unbelievable hit and carry for me. I never had any 10 pins stand up on me whenever I hit the pocket as long as I had a good release on it. One downside to using the rico drilling for me was that it didn't really give any "forgiveness" when I had a bad release and it would just skid down (made a difference for me instead of throwing the front 8, it was front 6, split, then another strike). Overall, great ball and totally worth it for the price.
