Recommended Layouts for EXPERT Ball Drillers
Pro-CG bowling balls are often utilized on the PBA Tour and have helped out Pro Staff achieve great levels of success. You, too , can reach the pinnacle of your game with this very dynamic piece of equipment. Please refer to the layout options to determine the best for your needs. Good luck.
Important:
Because all bowlers have different Positive Axis Points (PAP),your layouts may not have the same appearance as those illustrated below.
The following layouts are for right-handed bowlers. Remember to flip or rotate to produce "mirror-image" for left-handed players.

Layout 1
Leverage - No Hole

- Place the pin 3-3/8" from the PAP to product maximum flare.
- Locate RAD in the STRONG position, halfway between the ball track and PAL
- Be sure to check for excess side weight, as a balance hole may be necessary to make the ball legal
Layout 2
Low Pin - Low Hole

- Place the pin 4-½" from the PAP under the fingers.
- Locate RAD on the axis midplane.
- Place extra hole on line from the grip center through the CG 1" inside the PAL
Layout 3
High Pin - No Hole

- Place the pin 5" from the PAP above the fingers.
- Position RAD 1" left of the STRONG area (be sure to allow at least a 2" buffer between ball track and RAD!)
- Be sure to weigh the ball for static balance. If necessary, remove excess finger weight - drill the finger holes very deep.
Layout 4
Low Pin - Large Hole

- Place pin 4-½" from the PAP below the fingers.
- Position RAD 1" left of the STRONG area. (Be sure to allow at least a 2" buffer between the ball track and RAD)
Layout 5
High Pin - Large Hole

- Place the pin 5-½" from the PAP above the fingers.
- Locate Rad in the STRONG position.
- Use balance hole on the PAL, or axis midplane, to remove excess side weight.
Layout 6
2-½" Pin - Large Hole

- Place the pin 2-½" from the PAP
- Locate the RAD 2" right of the ball track, just left of the STRONG position.
- Locate large balance hole on PAL.
