I have been bowling with Dexter SSTs since they first came out and worn every model. The SST 7 is a great shoe for the bowler who doesn't drag their toe of the pivot shoe on the approach during the slide (ala Patrick Healy Jr.). If you drag your toe, wear the SST 6! If you don't drag your toe, use this shoe. All Dexter shoes are wear-ready. The soles and heels, when brand new, take very little break-in time. I have compared this shoe to its Dyna-roo rival and prefer this shoe to the Roo. Lace 'em up and Happy Bowling.

I had the Dexter SST 6 before I bought these. I like how they fit and how they are made. I also like how you can change the sole and heel to suit the lanes you are on. They are a great shoe and well worth the price.

These are a great pair of shoes. I normally wear a 11 1/2 D and these are a tad on the large size in width. I'd love to try a pair of 11 D's to see the difference. So if you are between sizes go with the smaller. Since the soles are replaceable it was a non-brainer to go with these. They also send you several alternate soles depending on your
preferences as respects more or less slide.

I purchased these shoes last week and received them in 4 days. Very fast shipping!! I thought I was going to have to break them in but after a few shots in practice I found the right slider and shot 714. These shoes are very comfortable and I highly recommend them. Thanks Dexter for a great shoe!

Shoes are extremely comfortable and very versatile. I love the choices you can make with the various slides, they all throw in a nice shoe cover and protectors. I bowled a 691 my first night out in leauge play, these shoes are well worth the money spent. Thank you bowlingball.com for your site, shoes delivered in 4 days to my house.

These shoes are fantastic! I have previously owned a pair of Etonics but they actually started falling apart after three months of continous use. This pair of Dexter shoes are built much better and are actually more comfortable. I bowl an average of five days a week and I should not have to buy a new pair of bowling shoes for a long time. If I do, they will be Dexter.

These shoes don't come with any scrubs to put on them when you need to take a leak or go outside for something! I thought they'd at least come with that for being $120+ bowling shoes! They come with 8 different sole and heel options to choose from, but I'm sure after you experiment a bit, you'll find what you like from that and the rest of the soles/heels you won't ever mess with. I'd like to trade them in for some scrubs! They're comfy and they look nice, but I thought they'd at least come with those shoe protectors/scrubs. A friend of mine has shoes that were under $60 and they came with some scrubs for when he keeps the shoes on but ventures into the bathroom or outside...

I used them for the first time Tuesday 8/25/09 and no problems. This is my 2nd pair of SST's and they are the best. I can't even remember the what number my last ones were but I got more out those shoes then any other brand I have owned. I had my old ones for over 6 years and put many games on them and they stood the test of time. One thing I would recommend is to try and wear the shoes around your house to break them in they are a little tight at first. Also the padded soles on the inside needed to be trimmed to fit the shoe. One more thing is they are super thick with padding and I will be replacing them with an aftermarket brand.

I really love these shoes! The style and quality is great! I had a beginner\'s pair of shoes that I got second hand before these and these are a 1000X better. Fit right out of the box was very comfortable and the added pads and heals that are included made it easy for me to find which combination would work best at my local alley. First time wearing them while bowling I scored consistantly 20-30 over my average! As far as price, I searched all over the interent, eBay etc and this site had the best price I could find. I know if you buy these you\'ll be very happy!
