Good for spares and for dry this ball can hook a ton would recommend only for beginner. For tweener or cranker go to the Virtual Gravity or the NVD this ball looks cool down the lane because it is polished and bright.

Exactly what I wanted out of this ball. Long and strong. Pin over the center of the fingers. I thought for the price it might not hit well, but don't let the price fool you. I've just ordered my 2nd just to polish a little higher. Tired of the over/under reaction you get out of all the latest & greatest but want something that still hits when it gets to the hole? Jump on this thing.

Picked up this ball to try for a dry house, synthetics with really light oil. I live on the east coast, and we joke constantly about our oil embargo here. Ball arrived 14lbs 14oz, around a 3" pin, with exactly 3 oz top. Nice specs for what I wanted. I drilled it with a 2" pin to pap, which puts the CG directly in the middle of my grip. This was the lowest flare rating on Columbia's drill sheet. I found this piece was more ball than I expected, even with the low flare drilling. This ball seems like it could handle a bit more oil than I am playing on, and might be better suited for medium oil, not really dry. And the color is so ugly its cool. Mine is more yellow than orange, and it looks alot brighter in person than in the photos, when its clean. I say this, because the ball picked up alot more lane junk with every trip down the lane than about any other ball I own - black marks, rubber smears, etc and required alot of cleaning and wiping between shots to get all the junk off . Maybe just the crappy house I bowl in.

This is the ball you need if you are a beginner looking for your first reactive ball or if you bowl a lot of tournaments and are looking for a ball that will clear the front part of the lane with ease later in the block and still hit hard. Not only does this ball cover all of the above, but it comes in three different colors so you can look stylish while knocking down the pins.
