The Circle Men's Rio Black & Black bowling shoes were a little uncomfortable at first. But once I broke them in they became very nice. Great slide and feel for the price. I would highly recommend these shoes for a beginner looking to save a little cash.

Very comfortable shoes. I am a casual bowler and was looking for a basic shoe at a low price. These fit the bill. As many have mentioned go up 1/2 size than your normal. I am a solid 9 in vitually every shoe/sneaker/boot but needed a 9.5 on these. Enjoy!

This shoe was a great buy and fits well. My wife and I saw the same shoes through the bowling alleys supply place and would have bought them, but the guy was literally hardly ever there. He was not there on 2 of the nights we went while leagues were bowling and wasn't to be found on the weekends. Gladly we looked online. We love the shoes and saved about $18.00 per pair on our shoes. This site, bowlingball.com had the best price of all. Others kept wanting to drop ship the item or add a hidden handling fee. Thanks bowlingball.com.

I bought a pair for my husband, for his birthday. He really likes them. He always rented how shoes when we went bowling and got upset because of the smell, the feel, etc. So now for under $20, which we pay for in weeks, he has his own shoes. They are comfortable and easy to bowl in. I DO recommend. Quit giving your money away to those stupid bowling alley people for really old and used shoes.

This is a great shoe at a great price. Comfortable fit with an easy slide. Easy to break in. Pay for these shoes in a couple weeks, don't rent old grungy used bowling alley shoes. These shoes fit true to size, very pleased.

These were my first pair of bowling shoes ever.
the thing i like the best about these shoes is the front of the soles are made of very long wearing CANVAS! i took them out of the box and i was sliding like i was on ice. ive had them over 3 years now and well over 200 three game sessions and they are still a great shoe.
The canvas sole is splendid for sliding and beats the pants out of any modern synthetic in almost anything 2-3x what these will cost you.(currently 20$) canvas wears amazingly well and takes a long long long time to truly wear out if you keep it brushed off after each session. as i said ive had them 3 years and they slide better NOW with 400+ games on them than they did new out of the box.

Sadly, however they are worse for the wear. the first thing that went was the edges of the soles at the toe and along my sliding/dragging side: the canvas began to lift and 'peel' up back to the threading that held it down. i just put this off to how i slid, bowled and wore on the shoes. easy patch though, a bit of super glue and it stays down and you never even notice it happened because of the canvas itself.
Second problem with this shoe. somewhere around the 200 session mark the soles of the shoe decided to begin to peel up from the body of the shoe, its just glued down. i put 2-part epoxy where they were originally glued down and viola! new shoes again. however i have bowled well over 50 sessions since then and it is simply time for a new pair.

my pair lasted well past where i thought they would have given up the ghost for the 40$ i paid for them when they were out of box new. If i was back on the uber budget i was when i bought these i would buy them again and again and again without a second thought.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED budget shoe!!! IF they have the size you wear that is.

It's an "ok" shoe for the price. Comfortable and true to size, however the lining inside the shoe is really flimsy. The "paint" (not cloth) just came off after the first use. It's still wearable, but the lining just looks bad. But for $20, you'll get your money's worth.
