Get Twisted! The Twisted Fury expands and upgrades the Fury line by introducing both a new core and new coverstock to the market. The Twisted Fury is comprised of an asymmetric version of the Torsion Core and the EnMotion Reactive coverstock.
Coverstock
The Twisted Fury introduces EnMotion Reactive coverstock. More aggressive in the mid-lane and back-end than High Octane, EnMotion Reactive delivers tremendous mid-lane recovery and forgiveness combined with plenty of back-end ball reaction
Core
Brunswick has added a new twist to the Torsion core concept by producing an Asymmetric version for the Twisted Fury. The symmetric version of the Torsion core used in the original Fury was based on triangular geometry. The Asymmetric version is based on a six-sided polygon. The inner core of a 16-pound Twisted Fury weighs in at 6.36 pounds, resulting in a medium RG that helps push the aggressive EnMotion coverstock down the lane.
Brunswick has put a new twist on core design so you can twist it up better on the lanes.
Reaction Characteristics
Out of the Box: With its Rough Buff finish, the Twisted Fury will provide excellent mid-lane recovery and a strong continuous back-end reaction.
If your Twisted Fury goes too long: Dull the surface with 800-grit or rougher abrasive to get the Twisted Fury to roll sooner and increase its hooking action.
If your Twisted Fury hooks too early: Polish your Twisted Fury with Brunswick's Factory Finish High Gloss Polish.
To bring your Twisted Fury back to its original factory finish, sand the surface to 400-grit then use Brunswick's Factory Rough Buff Finish.
The Perfect Scale™: Helping Bowlers Make Better Decisions. Because each manufacturer uses a different method for indicating a ball's hook potential, bowlingball.com developed a way for the consumer to compare bowling balls across all manufacturers.

What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
I was not really looking for anything specific in this layout. After some discussion with Brunswick's technical staff we decided to go this route based on their recommendation. Brunswick suggests that whatever layout you normally use to go 1/2" stronger with the pin placement. Since I normally test balls at a 5" pin location from my positive axis point we decided 4 1/2" with the locater Pin (mass bias marking) placed at 55 degrees. We wanted to see a strong skid/snap ball reaction from this setup and possible work in another ball from there.
What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
Brunswick nailed this one. I think they hit a ball reaction home run on this one. This is a just what I think most league bowlers want out of a ball and even higher end players will love this reaction.
I started with this ball in league and was determined to use it as long as I could, that proved to be a non-issue with my ball reaction. In the start of the night on our THS (typical house shot) we had plenty of reaction overall. The ball was clean and predictable in the front part of the lane. As it started to read friction in the mid-lane, it handled it really well with a strong ball motion and just continued that into the backends. Overall it hit as hard as any other ball I have thrown this season.
Overall my moves were small all night and most of them were more for carry reasons than ball reaction. Towards the middle of the third game I could have made a ball change but at this point in the night I figured I would finish out with it. I must have under estimated how much this ball likes friction because as the dried out this ball just ate it up and hooked more but stayed predictable.
You can be sure that I will have another Twisted as soon as I can drilled a little weaker for later in the night.
By the way if you wanted a straight up comparison to the Fury Pearl, the Twisted was a little less but in a very good way. I saw a much more predictable and controllable movement and a more desired ball reaction for myself. Not taking anything away from the great ball the Fury and Fury Pearl are but this ball is hot.

Ball reacts well to changes in hand position.
Maintains a nice arc, smooth and strong, doesn't stop.
Carry down not an issue with this ball.
Carry is exceptional, in the top 3 of any bowling ball.
Ball actually revs up as the ball comes out of the break point.
Confidentially recommend to friends and family.
Keep it clean with any ball cleaner and keep it lightly polished. Do not resurface by hand, as with any performance ball. Use an oil free towel often to keep the oil out of the cover stock.
I have carried the lane any where from the 3 board to 25.
A must have for any bowler. If you only are looking for one and only one ball you just found it.
If you want to add a ball to your arsenal don't hesitate.
Thanks Brunswick and bowlingball.com

3 1/2 " PSA to PAP
1" pin buffer
PAP = 4 3/4" x 1" up
3" pin length ended up about an inch above ring finger (4 3/8" span).
Feet on 30 board - ball out on 12 swung to 8, STRIKE! Moved feet left to 35 ball out on 20, STRIKE! Left feet alone ball out on 15, STRIKE! Moved feet back right to 30 and put ball out on 10 swung to 2, STRIKE! Decided to be smart@*$ and moved right to 25 and put ball on the 5 board, straight up, STRIKE! I couldn't believe it, first 5 shots, all different lines all, and each ball was a strike with my Twisted Fury.
Moved to find my comfort line. Feet on 30 since I was used to this. Played ball out on 12 ball hit 2 to 3 board about 3/4 down lane before it starts it's move to pocket. Great line threw 3 more strikes on this line before FINALLY leaving a ringing 10 pin. Eight strikes before my first 10 pin. Best part, flattened ball out and spared the 10 pin with same ball (can never do that). Tossed three more strikes with the Twisted for a 279 first game. And that was with the front 5 by testing different lines. Highly recommend this ball.
