moderatly aggressive coverstock and moderatly aggresive core this combo together gives yu smooth transition in any lane condition even in the heaviest oil. The ball does need a little hand to get the ball to hook more but over all probably one of the smoothest balls i have ever thrown and one of the best as far as reading the dry. This ball has a very small under over reaction so just put it in the right place and it will do the rest for you..overall great choice by amf and 900 global and great name...in this sport there are heroes and other times there learks...THE VILLIAN!!!

Hello, first of all I'm a youth bowler and I beleive I have a good strong hook. I got this ball for Christmas and alot of people said I got it because people thought AMF was going to retire it. But I did'nt hear about that rumor. Me and my father went to about three different demos of global 900 and AMF before Christmas, so I got to try out the villain three different times. I got a good smooth ark and a beautiful backend and a strong finish in thee box and overall I'm happy with this ball but recently it has'nt been hooking enough so that why I gave it a ****.

Great ball, great backend, hits hard and carries well. Works on oil and dry lanes just adjust your speed. Works great with a backup or left handed. Most flexible ball I've seen.
