AMF 300 Sideways is coming soon another great ball for the AMF line.On the perfect scale 200.7 this will give you extreme skid/flip.Order early

Ive been having a lot of trouble. my average dropped from 210 to 202. My Black Widow Nasty was too strong for mid oil lanes, and my power groove was too weak unless it was dry. I bought this ball and out of the box shot 258 and 247. i had to leave because a league was coming in but it had great roll and very good pin action. I recommend this ball to anyone who is looking for a medium oil ball.

The AMF 300 Sideways is a great ball if you are looking for a ball that is very snappy on the back end. The AMF 300 Sideways clears the head very well, picks up a nice mid lane roll and when comes off of the pattern it makes a hard turn.

Step 1. Identify your Bowling style. In order to accurately determine a drilling pattern and final ball surface, you must first identify your personal bowling characteristics; these three key factors must be determined.
1. Bowlers Ball Speed
2. Bowler Rev Rate
3. Bowlers Axis Angle of Rotation
Chose the number below in each category that best describes your bowling style.
Step 1:
Ball Speed 1 = slower, 2 = average, 3 = faster
Ball rev Rate (RMPs) 1 = cranker (18 or more), 2 = tweener (13-17), 3 = stroker (12 or less)
Axis angle Rotation (side roll) select from one, two, or three

Step 2: Total your numbers up from ball speed, rev rate, and axis rotation. Use that number to select your drilling pattern.
Step 3: Layout must be based on your Positive Axis Point, illustrations are all based off a 5-1/2 over PAP.
Step 3: Choose your lane condition.
Step 4: Adjust surface.

bowlingball.com breaks down bowling ball weights into regular, medium, and heavy. Bowling ball weights vary and we want to make sure that we are clear on what you are ordering.

All weights that are available are in the list. If you are looking for a weight that is not listed, then we are out of stock and the ball has probably been discontinued.

Regular weight:
(example: if you order 14 pounds, we will send from 13 pounds 15 ounces to 14 pounds 6 ounces)
Medium weight: Just a little extra weight
(example: if you order 14 Medium, we will send 14 pounds 7 ounces to 14 pounds 11 ounces)
Heavy weight: A lot of extra weight
(example: if you order 14 Heavy, we will send 14 pounds 12 ounces to 14 pounds 14 ounces)

Warranty Restrictions:

Item must be purchased from bowlingball.com
All Warranties must be purchased at the same time the item(s) are purchased
Item must be returned for inspection
Item will be returned using UPS Ground, no matter what shipping method was originally paid for on the order
Extended Warranty turn around time can take up to 30 days
Only available to customers that live in the Continental United States
Extended Warranty Plus only covers a one time return and exchange

*Driller Protection Plan:

Ball must be drilled within 10 days of delivery
Bridge must be at least 1/4" wide between the fingers
Ball may not be plugged in any way
Bridge can not be weakened by holes that join at the bottom
The distance between any hole and the pin may not be less than 1"
Defect may not be caused from lane damage, ball return systems, and/or gutters
All holes must be beveled or sanded, leaving no sharp edges around any hole - including any weight holes
Driller Protection Plan covers warranty issues that may occur while the ball is being drilled. This does not cover any issues that arise as a direct effect from the layout or drilling. Ball reaction issues must be brought up with your ball driller or Pro Shop.

We have a full staff of professionals on site with over 50 years of ball drilling experience. We use a top of the line Vacu-Jig Milling System that enables our professional staff to drill all equipment with pin-point precision. Getting your new bowling ball professionally drilled just got easier!

bowlingball.com offers two types of drilling services to meet your bowling needs:

Custom Drilling Service

This service is recommended for advanced bowlers who currently own their own custom fit bowling ball. Custom drilling services can cost anywhere from $50 to $70. Installation of finger inserts, thumb slugs, switch grips, and thumb molds are also available for custom drilled bowling balls.

Basic Drilling Service

This service is recommended for the recreational bowler who would like to own their own bowling ball. This is a basic conventional layout using an average for the span and hole sizes. Standard drilling services can cost anywhere from $30 to $50.

Below is a table of the right handed (Reverse Ring/Middle for left handers) measurements used to drill your bowling ball. They are given for informational purposes only and are not guaranteed.

The fit of this service is not guaranteed and minor adjustments may have to be made to the hole sizes once the ball has been received. We will finish off all the holes and the ball will be ready to bowl with once it is received.

Drilled bowling balls may not be returned for any reason other than a manufacturer defect. Ball fit and reaction are not guaranteed by bowlingball.com. Drilling charges cannot be reimbursed.
