AMF’s new affordable performance is called the Grip. This ball has a low RG/ high differential double cross core (2.487/.051) which gives this ball a strong predictable ball motion. The F64 cover is sanded to 2000 abralon to handle higher oil volumes but can be sanded smoother and polished for lighter oil volumes.

The grip is a great ball for heavy oil. It has the old bounty hunter core in it. So if you previously owned that ball this is a wonderful replacement for it. This ball hooks a lot especially for the price. If your looking for a ball to outhook some others and don't want to pay high dollar amounts this ball fits what your looking for. I drilled this ball with pin over my bridge mass bias about 1 inch from my thumb. The technical layout numbers are 42x5 1/8x47. This ball for having some surface out of the box still gets through the front fairly easily and is very strong off the spot. I am very happy with this ball when I can throw it. Most house shots near me this ball just hooks to much by the 2nd game.

If I could some this ball up in one word it would be "Benchmark", this balls core to coverstock combination gives this ball a very predictable roll that can be used on alot of patterns. I love the way this ball makes a great move in the mids and still retains energy even when the lanes break down. This ball reminds me alot of the old AMF Tour Menace as far as ball shape is concerned. This ball will be very user friendly on a variety of patterns, with minor adjustments on this user friendly coverstock. This is one heckuva ball for the price. You will not be disappointed. My PAP is 5 15/16 x 5/16 up. Don't miss the boat on this one!

This Ball HOOKS! Be careful!

I was never a very big fan of AMF equipment, but this ball, wow! If you need something that starts up early, yet still continues to dominate through the rest of the lane, Here ya go. Most equipment that hooks early, dies and loses energy on the back part of the lane, not this ball, it just keeps going. Looks great on longer patterns.
