What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
This was the recommended layout from Lane #1.
This layout should produce a strong backend motion with a smoother look in the front part of the lane. Since this Lane #1's first non-Diamond shape weight block in a while we are eager to see what else they have up their sleeve for us.

What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
Well as you will be able to see from our video review the Boom-R'ANG lived up to its name for us. We saw quite a bit of back end motion from this ball with all of our testers. Exactly what you would expect from a ball with its name.

As you see the ball motion on our video you can also see have versatile the ball can be depending on where you like to play on the lane. I threw some really aggressive shots from the typical area on the lane for most bowlers around 15-16 at the arrows and had the ball coming off the breakpoint pretty strong around 5-6 board down lane.

From this part of the lane you saw exactly what you wanted, the ball did not read any friction early and went left off the point down lane. It absolutely crushed the pins from this angle.

I was also able to throw some really good shots from inside the 4th arrow and carry the ball as far right as 5 again, even from this angel the ball came screaming back and had plenty of stored up energy at the pins. I love when I can do this because I feel like no matter what I see on the lane I will be able to find a good spot to get the ball to the pocket from.

All in all I think this is another winner for Lane #1.

The Boomerang is a Pro Performance bowling ball from Lane #1, has a highly polished coverstock, and rates 209.8 on the bowlingball.com Perfect Scaleā„¢.

Sometimes while shooting video it is difficult to remember your feelings about a bowling ball. I love that we have the video to go back and reference, and that we can share it with the bowling community.

With that being said, the Boom'r-ANG is a strong bowling ball from Lane #1. It clears the heads with ease due to its polished coverstock. Once it hits the break point it, it does just that, makes a break for the pocket. The Boomerang Diamond core helps the ball stand up and go at the break point.

I tend to play the lanes for our videos, the same as I do in league. Starting with my left foot around 25-30, and throwing over 15 (3rd arrow). This puts my break point around 10 usually. This is my comfort zone, and the Boom'R-ANG fit right in that game.

Lane #1 Boom-Rang is a Pro Performance ball with a 4"Flare Potential. The Boomerang Diamond core will read the midlane and change it's axis to give you a strong roll in the backend. The Boom-Rang will be the hook monster you need for that tough lane condition.

i been bowling over 30 years now,i only used this ball twice on my league and i have put a 289 game down.the ball does do everything the write up on the ball says it will do,with no roll out!
just relize one fact, its a pearl and you will get some over & under on it.but if you got a dry area to hit off ,let me tell you-WOW!
YOU CAN EVEN MOVE IN REALLY DEEP AND HAVE IT HIT WITH ALOT OF POWER.
get it for your bag, trust me you will not be sorry.you just be waiting on lane one's solid like me

This ball has a snappy breaking point but it can be easily anticipated, its fantastic on heavily oiled lanes

I drilled this ball Label Leverage or 1:30 . No weight hole . Out of box surface , this ball is a BEAST , Clears the Heads and starts its srtong controlled move and CRUSHES the pocket . I will drill anothe Pin up to see the difference . Lane 1 has a winner here .
