The Innovative Ball Spinner with a 1/2 horse power motor is the ideal piece of equipment for any one that want to maintain the surfaces on their own bowling balls. The precision machined bowl eliminates wobble while the ball is spinning so that your surface are smooth and even. This spinner runs on 115 volt operation and has a 8' power cord. This spinner has a protective cap to shield motor from dirt and debris, heavy duty switch for lasting reliability, and it is completely portable. This is a very well made item. No vibrations or balance issues during spinning even with considerable pressure applied to the ball.
Plenty of power and remained cool throughout a complete resurfacing session. Impressive Quality all-around, plus it made right here at home!

There is a very informative book and program on DVD fully explaining not only the proper use of the spinner, but a system for building ball arsenals from 2 to 8 balls and tracking those balls to eliminate the trial and error guesswork involved in adjusting to conditions.

I would go with the 1/2-hp model, the extra power will keep everything running cool and smooth especially if you are doing a total resurface or you are freshening more than one or two balls at a time.

IF you want to be able to maintain your bowling equipment yourself then the Innovative Personal Ball Spinner is a must have. Cleaning a bowling ball by hand helps but to properly maintain a bowling ball to get the most out of it you have to restore the manufacturers surface every 25 games. This can only be done with a ball spinner. This is a very compact ball spinner that can be stored very easily and is easy to use. Very nice unit. Saves me so much time it is amazing.
Be sure to purchase the 1/2 horsepower unit. It is well
worth the small amount it costs versus the 1/3/h.p.
If you don't have a heated work shop or garage you can
place this unit in a small plastic tub and work inside
your house. With this unit your balls are ready to go
when you walk in the door at the lanes. If you are like
me there is always a line at the lanes to use the spinner.

I ordered the ball spinner so I could clean and shine up all my bowling balls and not do it by hand.

This spinner works perfectly. Can't say more then that. It does what it is suppose to do.

I purchased this because I recently got back into Bowling with three new balls,bag,glove,ect. I am a do it your selfer. I found out that regular resurfacing is a must to stay on top of your game. Did my research,watched the instructional dvd on resurfacing and decided to go with Abralon sanding pads.(a home run by the way!). Although the overall construction is in the crude range,this spinner is most likely the best you can buy right now. The motor(most important part)is of decent build. The Bowl is also decent and they got the size and shape down right as you can cover the entire Ball with just flipping once! I went with the 1/2 H.P. motor as with my extensive knowledge of same,ALWAYS go with a bit more Power than what you'll need. The Motor will simply be less stressed and last/perform better/longer! I was worried about the "wobble"factor before first use as with bowling balls,(especially these days,)their internal weighting,(being offset as they are),will place a bit of a challenge to the Rotational Stability of said Bowl causing uneven sanding and added stress to the motor. I found there to be a Minimal amount of wobble. Some balls I worked on had virtually NONE at all. My first Resurfacing was a 2009 Storm Virtual Gravity. Ball pretty beat up.I took my time and brought ball back to factory finish in 2hrs.I used Abralon 500/1000/2000/3000/& then finish with 4000.I prefer to use them wet .Without a spinner,I would have paid a pro shop to do. Cons; well.....It has an In-Line Power switch.I never cared too much for In-Line Power switches as they don't hold up too well(cord will pull out of one end or both).Place switch into base of unit and I would then give the add.Star. I would recommend this to any serious Bowler who wishes to learn and then do his/her own routine maintenance. Believe me it's not that difficult to master. Learn the do's and don't and then practice on some old ball(preferably a friends).LOL. P.S.If you don't already know,Then give Abralon Pads a try. $8.each but worth it!
