Ball works well as described. fits into my arsenal of track products. awesome! The ball works best on light oil or lanes that have been burnt up. Don't get me wrong this ball still has great movement on the backend.

Far too many ball companies continue to deliver stronger and stronger equipment. For many of us league bowlers, these super balls read the lane too early and simply burn up without delivering their promise of higher scores. I will be honest, the 505T is the first ball from Track I have purchased in many years, but based upon the performance I saw the first time I threw this ball, it is likely not to be the last. I drilled my 505T using a modified drilling #1 layout. I placed the mass bias closer to the thumb, about 1 1/2 inches away, than the standard #1 layout. My style is a tweener with slower than average speed. What the ball gave me was free length with a strong controlled hook once the ball saw friction at the back end of the lane. The lane condition was medium to wet. The ball did what I wanted, it gets through the front and mid-lane very cleanly without reading the mid-lane too early. At the backend, the ball makes a strong controlled hook through the pins. The ball is the best product at this price point I have seen in a long time. For those who look at the Perfect Scale number an think this ball may not be strong enough, rethink that opinion. The Series approach to ball naming will help you build your arsenal instead of just adding another name to your bag. Give the 505T a try, I don't think you will be sorry.

I was hoping this would be a benchmark ball!! and i got something better!!!! i drilled it pin over ring with cg and mass bias kicked right..The ball is a beast!!! it goes down lane and with the Traction it reads about mid-long on the lane and explodes in the backend for the TRACK hitting power that is and always has been packed into these bowling balls!! The ball is awesome and i would reccommend it to anyone who wants a versital medium-heavy oil ball with alot of hitting power and if you want control this ball will work too and you can get it drilled to how you want..Great Ball Track!!!

I am a tweener and my revrate is about 400 rpm. My average is 215.
I drilled mine pin under the bridge (the same as one of my 505As) and this really seems to give a strong read in the midlane with an aggressive arc on the backend. The coverstock is really strong, and does compliment the core nicely (its low RG means that it gets started sooner) - it is fantastic value for money considering the amount of hook. I can see myself using it on longer or higher volume tournament patterns due to its strong read, but predictable ball motion, although I can see it being great for the league bowler who bowls on longer patterns too. It complements my 505As really well, and allows me to use the 5 series line of balls on basically any lane condition - it is a great line they have going.
