I didn't like the way the Roto-Grip Epic Battle Pro Pin bowling ball was factory finished. So I polished it up and the ball does a skid snap. When this ball is polished, it hits like a ton of bricks.

All of my bowling balls are 15 lbs. My Epic Battle hits harder than any ball I have. I have the Brunswick Fury and the Epic Battle Crushes the pins harder than my Fury. The Epic Battle is ideal for heavy lane oil use. It hooks like a monster in heavy oil conditions yet is easy to control. Because of its power, the Epic Battle will give you strikes when your shot is off. I can't tell you how many people have played league matches with me and become upset with some of the strikes the Epic Battle can deliver.
When lane oil conditions are light, it's best to give this ball a break. However, if you have a 3 to 4 pin combination complicated spare shot, the Epic Battle will destroy pins and pick up spares due to it's brute force hitting power.
The Epic Battle would be best described as a bulldozer. If you need a particle ball for your arsenal, the Epic Battle will satisfy your needs.

The bowlingball.com Roto-Grip Epic Battle Pro Pin bowling ball flat flips on the back end. I have this ball drilled with a 6" pin to play in the oil on high volumes of oil. The cover is box finish and there is no problem reading the mid lane and adjusting for the proper brake point. On normal house conditions this ball is best with a lot of carry down. If you have a problem with over under reaction in the third or fourth game, this ball won't blink an eye at oil on the back end. Saying this ball has hitting power is an understatement, this ball hits like a train.
