I just purchased the T-Road about a month ago thinking that it would, according to the Perfect Scale, hook less than my Black Widow. It has a way stronger move down lane and carries much better. The layout on the Storm is even weaker than the layout on the Hammer. I was debating between the Widow Pearl and the T-Road Pearl and I am pleased with my decision. The only complaint is that the cover seems to be more apt to nicks and scrapes. Otherwise, Storm has pleased me again. With the right condition a ball with a lower Perfect Scale rating will store up more energy on the back end.

I was bowling in a different house over the summer season and I was struggling with no back ends. My other balls we're burning up before the pins. I went out bought the Storm T-Road Pearl bowling ball and it really drives through the pocket. During normal league night I start off with this ball to go straight up 5-8 board and it works. By the end of the night it starts turning a little too early but I switch to a more aggressive bowling ball and shoot 15-8 and it works out perfect. No complaints with this bowling ball, it's a perfect fit for any body's arsenal.

The Storm T-Road Pearl bowling ball works very well for me. I throw with quite a bit of speed straight up 5 board and this ball rips through the pocket. I've only used it the last three weeks in league and my average has gone up 2 points so far. Seems to fit my style very nicely!

The Storm T-Road Pearl bowling ball sucks. I went every were I could on the lane, it hooks too much or after the 40 feet of oil is up it doesn't hook at all and rolls out. It's not worth the money you have to pay to get it drilled.

The Storm T-Road Pearl bowling ball is absolutely amazing. I do quite a lot of traveling to bowl and I have been having trouble on heavy oil so I bought a Paradigm Passion hoping it would fix it and it didn't, that ball works great in medium oil. Anyway, I ordered the T-Road Pearl and I got it drilled to have a high flare, and I used it on heavy oil last night and it was the best hooking ball that I have ever owned in heavy oil. If you like a ball with a lot of backend this is the ball. At my bowling center here it did wonders for me.

12/18/06 I used my 16 yr old sons Thunder Road Pearl bowling ball last night during our league play. He is close to 6 foot and 230, I'm 5'8" 175. I normally use an old (1986) Ebonite Gyro I, which my high game with that old ball is 289, and carried an average of 205 earlier this winter season. I also use my newer Zone. I get good back end break with these two balls. Occasionally I use a Maxim, that I get ALOT of snap on the back end (which amazes the bowling center owner for that ball to react the way it does) but have a hard time finding the pocket. This ThunderRoad also has A LOT of backend snap and seemed to naturally zero in on the pocket and it just destoyed the rack. Keep in mind my sons ball is drilled for him, the span is longer and the thumb hole feels like its an 1/8th inch bigger, but even with the ball drilling being bigger than my hand, this ball worked great. In my 2nd game using MY Zone I had a score of 98 in the 7th, I switched back to his Thunder Road and struck out ending with a 188. I'm 43 yrs old and the question to my wife was "Mama, can I keep her?" I WANT ONE!!!!!

This ball is a great ball for shorter lane conditions. It rolls a bit longer than most of my balls and I always use it when I am throwing it up the gutter.

About the Bowler
Bowling Hand    Right Handed

bought this ball last sunday, which is a week ago..
because my virtual gravity was very aggressive, and I felt I need something to go straighter.. '' Wrong answer buzzer '' ..
got a less reactive, shiney ball with a moderate layout..
but once this thing gets on the dry board, IT HOOKS! !
just to have a feel how good choice it was, I started with my VG line.. got the head pin.. on the head.. ok maybe a bad shot.. maybe slower than usuall... second try, missed the head pin barely hitting the second pin.. move 4-2 left, feet-eyes, and got strikes, after strikes, after strikes..
not much room to miss right, not much room to miss left, right is gutter ball, left is a big smash in the head of the head pin .. it I actually hit it..
but I LOVE the motion of the ball.. And I love practice on sport pattern, because we have less room for mistakes, and this ball, like the VG, gives me less room for mistakes on house pattern then other balls, and that's another reason why I love those balls soo much! I don't like when it's too easy..

I purchased this ball to compliment my dimension. My intent was to get a ball that hooked a bit less for drier conditions, but this ball is crazy! I mean that in a good way. This is the first ball I have reviewed that I disagree with the perfect scale. This ball flat out hooks! It hooks much more (and later) than the dimension, and it is a boatload of fun. My average has suffered a bit, but it is just too fun to put away. Morich is definately the ball for me to hit the high scores, but did I say this ball is fun? I am a right handed tweener throwing at 14.5 to 16.8 mph depending on conditions, and my average is around 210.
