This is my first XOUT ball. Due to the Pin and CG being approx. 1/4 inch apart (too close) the ball was drilled but was not aggressive at all. The ball dies out just as it gets to the pocket. Light hits, no drive, useless to me. The xout is a risky choice and I do not recommend a Xout because you don't know what you're getting. This one was a waste of my money.

This ball rolls like a champ... huge hook, great energy conservation, and to help out pro shops, this is VERY driller friendly. This ball rolls the best with some surface applied for me, as the polish makes the angle too hard off of the dry; IE- 9 pin city!!
Tried mine pin up and pin down, the pin up ball was long and strong with decent midlane roll-up, and the pin down was extremely strong in the mid lane, still smooth in the fronts, and continuous in the heads. Hammer did it again... but then again, when don't they!? :)

Desired reaction: When throwing my Jigsaw (also an X-out but pin below ring finger), I noticed that at times the ball was better with forward roll playing parallel as opposed to crossing boards. So with the Corner, I decided to go with something that could still hook through the heavier oil patterns but also allow me to create more angle with better carry.
Reaction: This ball did exactly as planned. The Corner read the friction consistently and when it did hit the friction, it made a strong and defined move left. This ball would come back from anywhere. It complemented my Jigsaw very well because when I needed to play straighter or tighter, the Corner let me know that the Jigsaw was the right ball.
I have used the Corner on various patterns ranging from 37 feet to 45 feet. This ball knows how to make the Corner and drives hard through the pins. Thank you Hammer!

Bought 2 Hammer Jigsaw Corner X-Out.Had them both drilled the same.One out of the box I bowled games of 279,269,279=827. Then I took the other ball out that I polished on the same lanes and moved my body and target right and bowled 259,279,268=806.The bowl is very aggressive dull out of box but when polished goes down the lane longer and comes back strong.So if you need a ball for heavy-medium oil this ball handles very well.You also have 5 ways of drilling this ball. For the money it is a very well balanced ball.I am for the past 10 years a solid 215-220 avg.bowler.Thank again bowlingball.com for another product for the value. _

I love this ball and everything about it. I'll start out saying I am 15 years old and I carry about a 195 average. I was still throwing a 13 pound ball up until now. I bought this ball along with a Freeze. They compliment each other very well. I got this drilled to have a strong but controllable arc. I have no problems getting this ball to hook on any lane conditions no matter how wet. On the first day I shot with this ball, I had a bad first game, about 170 or so. It took a little bit of time, but starting in the 5th frame of the second game, I had 12 in a row. I ended with a 620 or so. I have also had many good series (600+) with this ball since then. This ball works great on wetter lane conditions and it just destroys the pins. The X-out was barely a problem. The cog was slightly off, but there was no problem adjusting that with the drilling. This ball is working exactly how i wanted it to. The ball looks great, too! Great work Hammer!

The Hammer Jigsaw Corner X-out is a good ball at a great price. The Jigsaw Corner X-out is a the same quality as a 1st expect for some color issue logo stamping issue. I have drill numerous x-out for myself as well as customer and all have rolled very well. So if you are looking for a high end ball for a great price then maybe you should consider an x-out.
The Jigsaw Corner X-Out will give you good length and an aggressive move on the back end.

Hammer Jigsaw Corner on the perfect scale is 208 with 4000 abralon sanded.The corner will give you more length with angular back end.If you need a ball for oil that will not stop in the back end this is the ball for you.

Ok this is my first review on here and its the only reason I signed up on this site. This ball is absolutely rediculous. Ive never been much into the hammer line until the widow series. Ive thrown the hot sauce pearl and the black widow venom and also the original jigsaw. I got the new jigsaw corner 2 weeks ago and I love it. Ive never thrown a ball with more backend and that carries like this one. I normaly cover alot of boards when throw usualy 22-3. This ball made me move farther left and move my breakpoind down about 2 foot. This ball is truely a monster on the lanes and hits like a mack truck. I had it drilled on a sunday and in by that thursday I had already notched my 2nd 300 with it that night in league. The 1st one was just a practice game that tuesday before league. Last week on my tuesday night league I shot games of 279, 265, and 277 for an 821 series. All these scores were shot within 10 days of having this ball drilled. I must say that Im truely hooked on hammer equipment now and cant wait to see what they come out with next. If you are looking for a ball that gets through the heads clean, has excelent midlane roll and a tremendous backend then I strongly suggest this ball for you.
got ball drilled when first came out pin above the bridge 5 1/2 to pap medium track.....all i can say is i've been bowling for 14 years carry 223 average and this ball hits like a ton of bricks just so long you don't lose hand on the ball when you release it this ball will definately find it's way to the pocket first 3 games 267,265,247 may have had a blemish or two with splits but all human error! No problem stringing strikes together. By far best ball i've ever thrown looks great hooks great.....only thing when getting into third game for bowlers out there who may lose a little ball speed recommend immediately going to original black widow hooks just little less with more length and won't have to do any extreme adjustments moving left or anything.....greatest one two combo you can put together. Compliments to Hammer with their brilliance in creating this ball

when i bought the ball i was actually lookin for something agressive like my old "the sauce" before it was stolen.. this ball absolutley disapointed me, even with surface changing and redrilling this ball was an absolute dud, i bowl in a league where the average is about 220 and the bowlers who have bought this ball say they prefer the mission 20 times more
I recieved my Hammer Jigsaw Corner in the Mail on Monday. Took it to the pro shop the same day. Picked it up on Tuesday. I bowl about a 150 average. That Tuesday night i bowled with the Jigsaw corner i average 192 over 7 games. That Friday night i bowled a 254 and a 243. Since bowloing withe the Jigsaw Corner for the past 9 days i have a bowling average of 192. I throw atleast 4 more strikes on average per game The Hammer Jigsaw Corner is truly a strike magnet. Best ball i have ever owned.

This is my first high performance ball and so far it's great. My average went from around a 170 to a 220. This ball moves about 10-15 board more than my Ebonite Crush/R. Seems like this ball is being overlooked by other hot sellers such as the Jacked and Mutant Cell. Dont under estimate the reliability and carry thru the pocket of this ball. The pro at the local alley actually talked me out of buying the Mutant Cell, due ot the lack of consistency, for this ball. I'm extremely happy that he did.
I average 190-ish and decided to give this Hammer product a try after being very disappointed in a pearl Black Widow.
I swear... I can't tell the balls apart. My old Brunswick Rampage outhooks, outhits, and outcarried this ball. Maybe it's just about making the prettiest ball with a cool name? If so, this ball wins: it is gorgeous. Save some money and buy a Mutant Cell or some other non-Ebonite, Hammer, Columbia (all the same company) product.

What the Jigsaw missed the Corner has, this ball is fantastic moved 7 boards left and throw 2 boards inside my normal position and this ball comes back hard. I am extremely pleased as I bought this ball today and out the box had ball drilled pin over ring finger, mass bias left of thumbhole and stroked a 286 first time ever. LOOOOOOVVVVE

The Hammer Jigsaw Corner is best ball I have ever purchased. In the two months I have had it, I have raised my average 10 pins. It is very forgiving, because no matter where I throw it at on the lane, it always seems to find the pocket.
I drilled this ball with a label drilling, but it still hooks pretty hard. I got it in 12lbs just to experiment with a different weight. I like the look of this ball a lot, but the lighter weight sometimes gives me lousy pocket shots leaving splits. The ball definitely makes an angular attack at the pins. Just got it a week ago. Shot a 236 with it on league. I should have gotten it a few pounds heavier.

Let me just say that before I got this ball, my average was around 180 and my high game was a 256. Well since I have got this ball (had it for about 2 months now), my scores have skyrocketed. My average in league is now 210 and I have got several games above 256 including a 299. This ball is without a doubt the best ball I have ever had and has an amazing backend reaction. You can play a variety of angles and the ball is versatile enough to hit flush in the pocket. This ball has really changed my game and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for something to really give them a breakthrough.

I needed a new ball for our crazy shot at our bowling center. I am a down and in shooter with good ball speed(18mph)and it hit the backend with super force. Best Ball I ever have purchased.
I recently picked up the Jigsaw Corner to use on my Sunday Morning Mens League when the is a high volume of oil. Ball was drilled using the 1st Layout in the Jigsaw Drilling guide. I had my driller modify it a little but basically went with a Skid/Flip Layout.
I love this ball it does everything and plus some. Threw it on a 38 ft House Shot with 1.5 Volume of oil. Basically played the ball off of 3 board all the way in. Ball does what its supposed to do, Skid/Flip. Shot 2 games with it so far.... 178 and 228. Deffinatly a must for anyones arsenal.

Tried it out last night in league. Ball is drilled skid-flip. Has a lot of movement on the back end, can't keep it on the lanes at my home house with wooden lanes. Want to try it out on some synthetic lanes.

Just got this ball a month ago. Put up a 226 avg on the cheetah pattern in the pba exp league. This ball has some rediculous back end hook, which i anticipated when i bought the ball. I didnt expect it to be so predictable and controllable, and with its heavy back end hook, its extremely forgiving if you miss your spot. I'd definately reccommend this ball to anyone!
I bought this ball and thought why not needed to replace an Elite Cheetah that has worked well for 2 years. Had it drilled the same day, noticed that little to no effort when it is medium to heavy oil, back end hooks hard to the pocket however I have only bowled 3 games with it so far just my luck medium oil with a dry back end so until I get the knack of my adjustment I have to deal with Brooklyn strikes and easy spares …Game one 170 Game two 192 game 3 221

Great ball. At first i was skeptical because I couldn't get it react like I wanted. but then i realized I had to alter my ball speed and rev rate a bit to get it to work correctly. After this minor adjustment BAM!! slaughters the pocket like crazy. Even if I miss right it'll recover and the pin action alone will help with strikes. If you miss left it'll slide and then make a sharp turn to brooklyn or hold it's like to the pocket (depends how far you miss) Overall the ball is amazing and I have both jigsaws. The corner i'm able to play deeper while the original i play a tad straighter. Definitely give these a try! you won't be disappointed. Maintain this ball so it'll last longer!! Nothing hits like a hammer!!

Medium rev RH stroker with 185 average. Speed is 14.5mph. Have always had a low track on the ball. Have been struggling on the new heavier oil patterns that my house has been laying down since December. My C300 Resurgence was playing 10-7 and not really having a strong finish. Bought the JS Corner, drilled it pin-up above the bridge with MB 1" to right of thumb hole. All I can say is Wow! Playing 20-7 and the backend hits like the proverbial "ton of bricks". Averaging about 7 strikes a game now, and the non-strikes are usually 10pins. Avg in the last 4 weeks is ~205. I have to move about 2 boards left every 7 frames, the ball becomes too aggressive by the end of the 2nd game on league night (10 bowlers to a pair), by then I'm playing about 25-5. But recently rolled in a 5-game tourney with only 6 players to a pair, and the ball was good for all 5 games. Best ball I've ever owned, just be sure to carry a less-aggressive ball that you can switch to.

This ball has been an improvement to my game.
This ball is sick. I am a beginner with only about a year's experience, but this ball just works for me. I get a really long, good read down the lane with a nasty snap into the pocket. There something about the Jigsaw Corner cover material that works better on certain oily lanes than my other ball, a Hammer Sauce. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a great reactive ball for heavy oil situations.
My only complaint, and I realize it's a pretty lame complaint, is the white color in the ball. You throw it once down the lane and it comes back looking gross. I swear after a game it looks like I found the ball in a dumpster. You might as well throw in a ball cleaner if you don't have any already.

I do not write many reviews because normally any ball can be fixed to make the surface reacted but this ball is REALLY not a good ball. I have had to scrub this ball down to 800 to make it work. In contrast the Evolve out hooks this ball, and I know there were not a lot of fans of the Evolve but it is better than a Jigsaw. I watched this ball go dead straight out of the box, changed the surface to 2000 shot 737. Next time I threw major over under on a house shot. Finally found enough oil to give it a fair test and it goes dead straight at 2000. The Virtual Gravity out hooks this ball a good 7 boards.
I am exchanging it for a Mission...VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
just got jigsaw corner and love it. have been a Hammer guy since their very first ball. still use a lot of the old hammers and can always rely on them. but the new jigsaw corner seems to be the ticket. first set 618. and I'm 182 avg bowler
This ball is awesome! I have mine drilled pin under the fingers. I left it at factory finish, and the ball motion is just sick. I have all the miss room I could ever need. Hose shots dont stand a chance. I have used it on kegel sport patterns and it just cuts up the oil. If your serious about your game, get serious about your equipment. Quit throwing the pretenders and start throwing contenders!

I would have to say that the Jigsaw Corner is unbelieveable and i would like to say that Hammer has once again came up with an outstanding bowling ball. I threw the ball the other night for the first time it left me speechless. The Corner got through the front part of the lane then came back with the angular position towards the head pin and destroyed the deck of pins! I have the ball drilled up with the pin just over my ring finger giving me alot of length down the lane with the angular backend reaction.

This was my first hammer ball ever and as long as hammer keeps making balls like this ill be a hammerhead forever. I went with the long and strong layou. the pin ended above my ring finger and the mb about 3 inches right of my thumb hole. This ball gets down the lane very clean and makes a very strong and angular move in the backend. I have had very good results on both synthetic and wood lanes. Over all im very impressed with this ball.

I got the jigsaw corner right when it came out. its a very weak ball for me.i had it re-drilled i still nothing.i even contacted hammer about and they were not helpfull at all . maybe the pro shop drilled it wrong twice but that highly unlikely . my ball speed is 18mph the ball doesent hook at that speed but if i throw the ball 12mph it will hook. my problem is i throw the ball 18mph and at that speed this ball will not hook. so i have wasted $240 dollars and now i still have to find a new ball to buy.
Follw up review, first off whenever I bowl I always have a great, good, bad game every single time. I use to throw the black widow venom which at times could be inconsitant and just die on the lanes. Normal night for me would be 215, 180, 150 with my venom, with the jigsaw every single game I've thrown has been 170-180 except for my 256 game. I love love love this ball its incredibly consistant and predictable, the only bad thing I can say about it is you really have to clean it after everygame as it picks up a ton of oil and gunk from the belt.

ball is good at coming back from anywhere. has brought my average up 10 pins. havent bowled in 15-20 years and with this ball it feels like i never stopped. would recommend it to anyone that wants to throw a strong hook.
I won this ball recently and love it! only playing approx. 15 games on it my league average has gone up about 8 pins with the season little bit past half way over. The strong pocket hit and snap of the ball is great. Though if you miss the pocket you leave a few I have never been thrown for a loop with the ball.
These three idiot's that say this ball doesn't hook apparently didn't get it drilled properly. This ball hooks harder than any thing I have ever put my hand in. I was really impressed with "The Sauce" when I got it when it came out. The Jigsaw Corner is for real. It does everything Hammer says it will do depending " ON HOW YOU GET IT DRILLED ". Let Your local pro shop guy watch you bowl with the ball you'e got, get your pap and track and this ball will work! NOTHING HITS LIKE A HAMMER
i got this ball last monday, had it drilled tuesday night, and threw it at my high school practice wednesday for the first time, and i must say i LOVE IT. it is an amazing ball, like a pocket seeking missle, my very first game i threw with it was a 195, and i average a 130. if you need a hook monster, this is the ball to get.
Just got the ball yesterday had it drilled for length and smooth arc motion. This is the best hammer produt i have ever bought. the fist set with it was 767. I strongly recomend this ball.
Another review...Used this ball last night in league play and rolled a 824 series..I just can't believe how much area and hold this ball can cover..I've been bowling for 10+ years and haven't seen a ball perform this good ever..

If you're looking for a ball that hooks, the Jigsaw Corner is it! This ball is a hooking beast! I got it drilled with the pin just above and to the right of the ring finger and the cg kicked out right of the thumb and added a weight hole, and I love the reaction. I was looking for a ball that would get back to the pocket on an extremely oily pattern that my house had been laying down this season, and I will say that this ball has no problem getting back to the pocket in this mess. I got it drilled last week, and I wish I had it all season. I started a league night with my Hammer Sauce, Hawg and a Black Widow, and I was having to play the Sauce or Black Widow from the 15 board out to about the 10 and keep the speed down to keep from sliding past the headpin. The pro shop guy got the Jigsaw Corner to me at the start of the third game, and WOW! What a difference! I could start this ball anywhere on the lane and get out to the 10 board and this ball never missed the pocket. It out-hooked my Hammer Sauce and Black Widow by at least ten boards. So if you're looking for a ball that you can throw and have come back on oily lanes, give the Jigsaw Corner a try. You won't be disappointed. Just know that you have to have oil or this ball is going to be way too aggressive.
I registered just so I could review this ball, my local proshop had one pre drilled to try out and from the very first throw I was in love. This ball hit like a tank, it actually seemed to pick up momentum once the core kick in and guided it right into the pocket. I'm a tweener with 180 average and I'm picking up this ball this week and can't wait, if your looking for something with real hitting power I suggest you pick one up and give it a shot yourself.

I will be re-reviewing this in a couple of weeks, once I have gotten more games behind me, but for now, I am heartily endorsing this Ball. I decided to give my Tuesday night league dues over to demo-ing this ball from the pro-shop wall-o-demos. And proceeded to have the best bowling night I have ever had. Rolled a consistent 257,266,269 for a 792 with a demo ball. I'm going to scrounge up the fundage for one of these *immediately*. I had 10 boards of target, with a direct line to the pocket every time. I normally carry a mid-190's average, and throw at around 17 mph. The Corner paired up with my roll beautifully. Smooth arc, plenty of backend, and a solid hit, every time.
I gotta say i love this ball. I am a 170 bowler and went out on my first league game and threw a 234. Love the movement on the end. i would recomend for anyone
trust not even the invasion can battle this ball its tooo much 2 to 3 boards stronger than the jigsaw damnn boyy you got a heck of a ball try this instead of the original jigsaw

I usually don't take the time to review but I felt I had too. If you are going to buy the Jigsaw corner you may want to think twice. If you bowl on house shots or even longer oiled shots you may not be as pleased as you think. The Nasty rolls better than this ball and the Mutant Cell even better. The hook and carry that I got out of the corner was not what I was expecting. It even seemed a little weaker than my original Jigsaw which I still use.
Just thought I would help you save a few bucks, it's just not worth extra money.

Got the ball drilled 1/16/10, first game was a 222, then alternated between other balls I own just for comparison. On the fourth game it was all Jigsaw Corner, shot a 266. This is the perfect ball for synthetic lanes. I bowl league on both, Raw Doom is perfect for wood lanes, and I've been looking for something that works well on the synthetic lanes. I'm a medium rev. bowler, ball speed avg. is 16 mph. I throw just right of the second arrow, with the ball snapping the last 2 feet. It works well for my style, you must keep the speed up, pin action is very good.
i bought this ball because i was in serious need of something with back-end to counter the fresh/oily lanes for my upcoming high school championship. All i have to say is this ball is a hook monster. it was out hooking my friends' invasion by several boards. i bowled a 233 234 279 for a 746 series my highest to date. i highly recommend this ball to anyone in need of something to move in oil; you will not regret it.

Tried mine pin up and pin down, the pin up ball was long and strong with decent midlane roll-up, and the pin down was extremely strong in the mid lane, still smooth in the fronts, and continuous in the heads. Hammer did it again... but then again, when don't they!? :)

Pin location: In middle finger
Desired reaction: When throwing my Jigsaw (also an X-out but pin below ring finger), I noticed that at times the ball was better with forward roll playing parallel as opposed to crossing boards. So with the Corner, I decided to go with something that could still hook through the heavier oil patterns but also allow me to create more angle with better carry.
Reaction: This ball did exactly as planned. The Corner read the friction consistently and when it did hit the friction, it made a strong and defined move left. This ball would come back from anywhere. It complemented my Jigsaw very well because when I needed to play straighter or tighter, the Corner let me know that the Jigsaw was the right ball.
I have used the Corner on various patterns ranging from 37 feet to 45 feet. This ball knows how to make the Corner and drives hard through the pins. Thank you Hammer!

Ok this is my first review on here and its the only reason I signed up on this site. This ball is absolutely rediculous. Ive never been much into the hammer line until the widow series. Ive thrown the hot sauce pearl and the black widow venom and also the original jigsaw. I got the new jigsaw corner 2 weeks ago and I love it. Ive never thrown a ball with more backend and that carries like this one. I normaly cover alot of boards when throw usualy 22-3. This ball made me move farther left and move my breakpoind down about 2 foot. This ball is truely a monster on the lanes and hits like a mack truck. I had it drilled on a sunday and in by that thursday I had already notched my 2nd 300 with it that night in league. The 1st one was just a practice game that tuesday before league. Last week on my tuesday night league I shot games of 279, 265, and 277 for an 821 series. All these scores were shot within 10 days of having this ball drilled. I must say that Im truely hooked on hammer equipment now and cant wait to see what they come out with next. If you are looking for a ball that gets through the heads clean, has excelent midlane roll and a tremendous backend then I strongly suggest this ball for you.

I swear... I can't tell the balls apart. My old Brunswick Rampage outhooks, outhits, and outcarried this ball. Maybe it's just about making the prettiest ball with a cool name? If so, this ball wins: it is gorgeous. Save some money and buy a Mutant Cell or some other non-Ebonite, Hammer, Columbia (all the same company) product.
I am not impressed.

What the Jigsaw missed the Corner has, this ball is fantastic moved 7 boards left and throw 2 boards inside my normal position and this ball comes back hard. I am extremely pleased as I bought this ball today and out the box had ball drilled pin over ring finger, mass bias left of thumbhole and stroked a 286 first time ever. LOOOOOOVVVVE
this ball.

I love this ball it does everything and plus some. Threw it on a 38 ft House Shot with 1.5 Volume of oil. Basically played the ball off of 3 board all the way in. Ball does what its supposed to do, Skid/Flip. Shot 2 games with it so far.... 178 and 228. Deffinatly a must for anyones arsenal.

Bought the Hammer Jigsaw Corner 2-3 weeks ago.
Just bowled my very first 300 game with this ball in practice.

My only complaint, and I realize it's a pretty lame complaint, is the white color in the ball. You throw it once down the lane and it comes back looking gross. I swear after a game it looks like I found the ball in a dumpster. You might as well throw in a ball cleaner if you don't have any already.

I usually don't take the time to review but I felt I had too. If you are going to buy the Jigsaw corner you may want to think twice. If you bowl on house shots or even longer oiled shots you may not be as pleased as you think. The Nasty rolls better than this ball and the Mutant Cell even better. The hook and carry that I got out of the corner was not what I was expecting. It even seemed a little weaker than my original Jigsaw which I still use.
Just thought I would help you save a few bucks, it's just not worth extra money.
