I purchased the Gadget XF about two weeks ago, because the Pro-Release I had been using off and on for the past 17 years is starting to crack a bit, and I also had to replace an attachment with a makeshift part.

I thought I'd try the extended finger model in order to increase my revs and also give me a better method of adjusting my side roll. So far I have not been disappointed. I love the infinite adjustments on the Gadget, and I have been able to tune it to just what I like. It has really locked my wrist into a position I feel comfortable with, and I have noticed my consistency has improved immensely. The device is very comfortable and seems solidly built. The fact that the pads are removable and can be washed is a plus, too

About the only drawback I have noticed is that, because of the infinite adjustments possible, making the adjustments is much more time consuming than with the Pro-Release. I was able to easily adjust the Pro-Release between strike and spare shots; doing so with the Gadget is cumbersome, and got old fast, so I have learned to shoot spares without it, which is actually probably a good thing.

For strike shots though, this is a great device for those with smaller hands like me, or weaker wrists. I highly recommend it.

The Gadget is great. I was having a hard time with understanding the wrist/hand/fingertip release angles and mechanics to maximize control and get big hook action. The Gadget is adjustable so by practicing with different adjustments it is possible to get the right combination for control and hook. It is great if you have a "floppy" wrist problem...once its on, your wrist/hand angle is held in one position which adds great consistancy. It looks a bit clunkly but I bowl with it all the time I'm having poor wrist control or when I need a reminder of what the proper position feels like.

The best benefit of the Gadget is that with some practice and adjustments of the settings you can train yourself to know the "feel" of your best wrist/hand position without needing a coach or, as is more likely the case, someone else telling you how to do things that may or may not be correct or effective.

The Gadget is built like a brick house and with the replacable padding should last a lifetime of bowling.

This is a good tool. It's giving me a good feel for the release, and I hope it's a temporary teaching aid, as I don't lack strength, just consistency.

Motorcycle accident broken arms/wrist, can only go without a wrist brace for a few frames before the nerves shoot pain down into my hand on my swing. The Gadget has eliminated this problem all together. Sturdy, Comfortable, Excellent support and easy to adjust. Throw the pads and straps in the washer with my microfiber towel to keep it fresh and clean. Highly recommend it for anyone with wrist problems or just needing wrist support. Will also help train you in regards to your release if you are a new bowler. I'm also going to pick up the one without the extended finger and try that to see if I like it better!

I had a wrist brace that was was just straight and at times i could not get enough revs with it. Having bought the gadget it allows me to to adjust my wrist so i can change my revs according to lane conditions. It is realy easy to adjust in just seconds i can flatten my wrist out to pick up a ten pin spare. The only thing i can find bad about it is the hook for the strap is hard to attach at first but when its on and adjusted its the most comfortable brace i have ever worn. I high recomend this wrist brace for anyone that needs to have something to help keep their wrist in the proper position for release.

The gadget really helped with ball control. You need a lit more hook dial it in. Need your ball to roll quicker change the wrist angle. The gadget also helps with wrist fatigue. I hurt my wrist a few years ago and the Gadget helps with wrist fatigue.

I was not sure about spending the money on this gadget, but I'm glad that I did. I just bowled a 517 series (almost 30 pins per game over my average). I have better rotation and better pin action.

The Gadgets are one of the if not the best arm brace on the the market. Not only is it extremely comfortable, almost everything on the brace is replaceable. The pads come right off and can be washed in a washer/dryer and all the straps are replaceable. This could easily be last brace you will ever have to buy.

I had a customer get this Storm Gadget XF support and he fell in love with it. He said that it is very comfortable to wear and is light weight. He is able to adjust it to different hand positions very easily. It also helped him create more hook with it on.
