AMF 300 Sideways has all you need for heavy oil.I drilled the sideways for practice on usbc national shot from 2010 did not get to bowl last year.Pin below ring finger and cg just right of midline and wow do i get roll in the front with control in the backend.This will be the first ball out of my bag in heavy oil.

The AMF Sideway is a good medium oil ball. It gives you length and stores energy for a strong back end. I tried a down and in shot on heavy oil and it's ok as long as you watch your ball speed, which will make the ball go past the breaking point. I really like this ball. I was missing a medium oil ball that was consistant.

Ive been having a lot of trouble. my average dropped from 210 to 202. My Black Widow Nasty was too strong for mid oil lanes, and my power groove was too weak unless it was dry. I bought this ball and out of the box shot 258 and 247. i had to leave because a league was coming in but it had great roll and very good pin action. I recommend this ball to anyone who is looking for a medium oil ball.
The AMF 300 Sideways is a great ball if you are looking for a ball that is very snappy on the back end. The AMF 300 Sideways clears the head very well, picks up a nice mid lane roll and when comes off of the pattern it makes a hard turn.

After dropping several pins towards the end of the fall bowling league from 2009, I decided I needed to upgrade my equipment since I had not purchased a ball in 5 years or so (I had stopped bowling for this time). Even though I took several years off I started strong at around 206 avg for quite sometime, but wasnt able to maintain it, and at the end of the year I dropped down to a 196 since my ball wasnt finishing anymore.... I liked the AMF Velocity I have been throwing, and I wanted another skid flip ball to use, so I picked up the sideways.... Man it holds to its name! I sent this ball out on a fresh THS and the ball went totally angular into the pocket... Im expect this ball to elevate my game this coming season......
