I could never get what I wanted out of this ball. I was initially impressed with this ball because I had never thrown any bowling ball that wasn't a plastic house ball. After a year I've cracked it. During that year it felt like I could never pull of any sort of hook. I got it redrilled in hopes this could help it. Help, it did not.
Fun first ball to own. Wouldn't recommend to friends.

This is my first non-plastic ball, as I'm trying to develop a better hook, and I think it's great. It has good reaction in the backend and if you throw it well, it cracks the pins pretty nice. In 3 weeks of owning this ball, I've gone from scoring in the 120-130 range to around 150-155. Definitely a good ball for someone like me who is trying to develop their hook.

I love this ball.. I would give it more than 5 stars.. At least 10... This is an awasome ball. I can't belive the performance I had with it. Forget about the color. I walked in with my pink and blue ball and my friends were laughing at me.. Then when I started bowling, they stopped laughing.
I got the ball drilled to skip and snap and it does just that. I have some very aggressive balls in my bag but this is by far my favorite.. I recommended it all of my friends.
Once again thanks to Mike from Bowlingball.com for the great job. I am glad that I finally found someone that does such a fantastic job.
Oh.... And by the way; Those guys that were laughing at me.... They like their pink balls too.

I purchased the Urethane Brunswick Groove 3 years ago and the Reactive Power Groove is an excellent ball that rolls early, heavy and makes its entry to the early and smooth. The high core with 2 side cylinders makes this ball unique in it's own form and does the job when you need it to. I recommend this ball for wet/dry conditions.

This ball did exactly what I wanted it to do. I bowl in 2 different houses and this ball is awesome on the house with a medium oil pattern and strong backend, and its also a great spare ball for when there is thick covering of oil! was a nice addition to my collection!

These bowling balls were not for me personally. I volunteer at the Wildlife Waystation which takes care of wild and exotice animals for life. We are alwasy looking for items to enrich them in their enclosures and these were for a hyena I work with named Kasane. Kasane does some trained behaviors and I thought he would like these balls to play with. It is hard to get things that he will not eat, hyenas have the strongest jaw in the the land animal kingdom. I have put boomer balls in with him but he bites them until they are totally destroyed. I need balls undrilled as his teeth would get stuck in the holes and break off. Kasane was a little scared of them at first (not a brave hyena) but once he knew they were ok he started pushing them around and trying to pick them up, so they are a hit. If you have any rejects on any items the Wildlife Waystation would love to have them. I would pay for shipping and any other charges. We have bears, lions and tigers who also like playing with balls. You can check out the Waystation at www.wildlifewaystation.org. This is non profit facility and it takes over $1.5M a year to feed, house and take care of their medical and psychological needs. Thanks for anything you can help thedse animals with.
Whoops of thanks from Kasane the Spotted Hyena.

The Brunswick Power Groove is a very good ball for certain lane conditions, I have three that are all drilled differently for the lane conditions in which my higher end balls start to react to much, I really like the fact that the Power Grooves are very consistent in there reaction to the lane when the oil starts to break down, I would highly recommend having one or more as back-ups and always purchase all of your bowling needs from Bowlingball.com as I do because out of all the other companies that you can purchase bowling items from I know that Bowlingball.com is the best, they get your items to you fast, in store condition, and will price match any item found on other web sites, and are always there to answer any question that might come up, so buy from Bowlingball.com you'll be glad you did, Tex.

I'm shocked with the price I can't believe how smooth this ball rolls. I have owned this ball for three weeks and I've shocked my teammates with a 600 series games, also my high game has been a 246 game. I would recommend this ball to starting bowlers.

Bought this for the wife (12 lbs.)
She's just learning to hook the ball,
So far great ball for the price.
Hooks well in med/heavy oil.
Will see how much it ups her average,
before upgrade to more aggresive coverstock.

This bowling ball is beyond great to have for a starting bowler. Got one in late January and love it. It's a reactive and you can throw it hard on board 15, or tweak it on board 5 and you will definitely get the pocket. Brunswick makes the most affordable, and best performance balls of any type whether it's plastic, or entry-level, etc. Only flaw is that the ball does have a tendency to get some scratches and get damaged easier than some others. I've impressed my coaches on my first year bowl a 227 high game. You can even use this ball as a spare ball for medium-heavy lanes.

I was looking for a ball for dry lanes and this fit the bill perfectly. Plenty of length with a very controlled reaction. Not too strong of a move but strong enough. My only Brunswick balls before this were a target zone for spares, and then I bought a Fury. Brunswick balls hit very hard. I like what I see. I purchased mine as a striking value and absolutely love it! Thanks Bowlingball.com Keep up the great work!

This ball is great. I have a Fury that I use for heavy oil, so I had this one drilled weak for dry lanes and shooting spares on heavy oil. The ball rolls great, has great midlane, and hits very hard for an entry-level ball.
I'm a low-rev player who averages mid 160's, but I can still get action on this ball. For high-rev players, this would make a great medium or heavy oil ball. For under $70, and with BowlingBall.com's great service, this is a good buy for any level bowler.
