The Xtra Hook is a light weight, comfortable wrist support with an aluminum backbone to hold the wrist and index finger somewhat rigid to improve uplift and hook revolutions. It is especially good support for a weak or injured wrist or to "train" a user learning how to "feel" the proper position of the wrist angle under and through the ball delivery/release. It will definitely improve the revolutions generated at release.
