I've had the same ball for over fifteen years. This year I went and bought the Storm Jolt Pearl bowling ball. My game improved for first time in ten years - I am doing better than ever.

I'm a high rev bowler who was looking for something to use on the lanes that I just started going to that are very oily with a very long oil pattern. I have a storm hit that I use on dry lanes at the other bowling center I go to. It did nothing on the oily lanes, and my gravity shift always wanted to go brooklyn. I got one of these in 16 and drilled it with the cg in my palm and the pin just off my ring finger. It's fantastic, it holds for great length even with my revs and snaps back like a beast with my release off the 4 board. I finally get the affect that my teammates with lower revs get with their gravity shifts.

I have never seen a ball at this price point to have this much skid snap, and carry like this, not in the 20 years I have been bowling. While I can not use this ball on a fresh heavy condition, it KILLS second league left overs. I am averaging 250 in my second shift league using this ball exclusively. Unreal! I am using an Action Max and Black Widow solid to average 231 in my first shift league.

I love the Storm Jolt Pearl bowling ball. I've been bowling for about 5 years now. I've had a plastic ball and a Storm Big Hit. I got one 200 with my Big Hit. But I have gotten about ten 200's with the Jolt Pearl ball and one 600 series! I highly recommend this ball!

This review is on the Storm Jolt Pearl!
If you're looking for a ball for drier lane conditions, this is the ball! The Jolt line is great because they covered every area with just 3 balls, and at a great price. Most balls in the Jolt's price range use a watered down core, but the Jolt's use a multi-density 2 piece core. So you actually get more than what you pay for! The Jolt Particle is one of the best on heavier patterns, the Jolt Solid is a wonderful benchmark ball for medium oil, and the Jolt Pearl is the savior on dry! Just like any reactive resin ball, if you drill this ball strong, it will hook. But if you're looking for something for burnt up lanes, drill yourself a Jolt Pearl with a weak drill! With ball companies making balls that hook more and more each year, you won't find a better ball for the dry than the Jolt Pearl!
As always... Bowl up a Storm!

Hooks hard and late, but leaves a lot of 5 and 10 pins. You really have to play a fine line and have a lot of speed with the Storm Jolt Pearl. Not the best ball.
