The Brunswick Goliath is a hard hitting and backend hooking ball, but with a little polish it tames down nicely. Nice ball all around.

I bought the Brunswick Goliath in August 2005. During the 2005-2006 season, shot 300, 298, 3 11 in a rows, and 12 series over 725. Also shot a 750 in the Wisconsin State Tourny. Great back end with explosive carry. I would definitely recommend this bowling ball.

Didn't hook as much as I was expecting, I had to slow it down quite a bit to let it work. I did hit 674 with it right out of the box??

The Brunswick Goliath works great on heavy oil. Great backend and hits really hard. For any new ball under $100 this is surely the best you can get if you are bowling on heavy oil. Shined up it would probably be just as well on drier lanes.
