In response to Grizz17- this ball is made for heavy oil conditions and will not respond well to dry lanes. If you bowl on dry lanes choose a ball made for dry lanes.

I'm not sure what other reviewers did with their ball layout, but this ball will move. Very strong transition through the midlane and heads. Not for dry lanes at all, I'm tracking it over 14 to 6 and hits the pocket like a juggernaut! I find it forgiving and reads the lanes very well. Cover stock will help make a line where by game 2 it is on! I actually bought two of these balls, and had them both layed out the same way, one for me and one for my son. So I could teach him how to throw without him being able to give excuses that his ball wasn't like mine. He averaged in Pepsi state this past Sunday a 231 with handicap over 6 games. The lanes were soaked with oil, first 3 games was a little nervouse, but rolled 402 scratch 146, 141, 115, then the next 3 he rolled a 465 scratch series 155, 130, 180 and was ready to roll. Too bad it was over. By the way, his avg is 124 and he is 13yrs old. His high game scratch is 255 with a Frantic (a very forgiving ball with carry) but it will soon go down to the Rhythm.

This ball is awesome on the backend. Just a little better than my Nano. If I do my part, the ball will do the rest. Nice job Hammer.

The ball is terrible. I bowl on a dry house shot where not even plastic balls have trouble making it back to the pocket. This ball turns less than my overused old warn out Brunswick Power Groove. Sooo disappointed. Maybe I got a defective ball, but it was drilled for maximum strength and its really a glorified straight ball with revs. My entire bag is hammer, save your money and get a taboo spare ball instead. It will turn more. I'm going to take the ball down to a thousand and see if it will move. If you ignore this review, you deserve what you get!!!
