Destiny or shall we say DYNASTY. This core/cover combo continues to finish at the top year after year.

Pin to PAP(5 1/8" over 1/8" up) - 5 1/4"
Dual Angle Layout - 45* x 5 1/4" x 65*
Balance Hole - P3

Surface Preparation - Out of Box (neaT {4000 grit})

What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
Well this one was a pretty easy test for us. 900 Global had had a winning ball for the past couple of years starting with the Break Out and then in the Eagle last year. They are making the same ball with another prize incentive for this years Open Championships.

I kept the layout pretty simple on this ball knowing that the motion would be really solid and perform well. The Break Out and original Eagle rolled great and we expected nothing less from this years Black Eagle.

What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
Man I almost forgot just how much I like this ball motion. 900 Global has figured out a way to release the same ball every year and get me excited about each and every year.

This core/coverstock combination could go down as one of the best of all time. The Black Eagles delivers the same awesome ball motion that we have seen from 900 Global time and time again from the Break Out to the Eagle.

The Black Eagle was the perfect combination of strength and control allowing me to do practically anything I wanted to with it. I was able to get just
inside of a couple of the other balls we tested and open up the right side of the lane. I had more room with this ball then anything else that night and I loved every second of it.

Off the spot down lane the Black Eagle was a beast and carried everything. If you are going to the 2012 Open Championships I don't know why you would
not bring one of these balls and take a shot at a nice little price from 900 Global. I don't see how this ball motion would not match up to what you will see out there.

900 Global Black Eagle the color is just what we have been waiting for. The roll on the eagle is just what you want for the Nationals and medium-heavy oil patterns. The MONEY offer is also great. Drill your Eagle with your favorite layout and you will have a new ball that rolls in the front and makes a strong move in the backend.

900 Global brought this ball back again this year in a new color. This ball has the same core and cover as the Violet Eagle, Break Out, and The Break. If you have thrown one of these balls in the past you know how good The Black Eagle is. I have been lucky enough to drill one of each of these balls with exception of the Break Out which I drilled 3 of them?. This Black eagle is my Favorite Ball to throw right now, it’s one of those balls that just hooks in the right spot and hits great and carries amazing. You know that type of ball… like The One, Black Widow, 3D High Rev and balls like that. It’s one of those balls that once you have one people bug you to give it up, and you never will. I drilled mine pretty standard, pin up 5” from my P.A.P. and kicked the MB out at 50 degrees with no hole. This ball reacts great on any Med.-Heavy oil patterns. For an all-around great rolling ball look no further.

900 Global this ball gives you the long snap pop that you are looking for. I mean this ball looks like its never going to hook and at the last minute it makes a left turn. Turns so hard on the back that you might get scared because it looks like its coming back at you.

What more can you expect to get from this ball than the past Eagle or Break out? Nothing more than the same great reaction that you have seen with those balls at the USBC's. My pap is 5 15/16 by 5/16 up. I put in pin at 12 oclock above fingers and kicked cg out a little bit with mass bias just left of thumb hole, with no extra holes. I threw this out of the box on last years USBC pattern and this ball has same amount of hook potential as the purple eagle, but saved more energy for the mids and definitely on the backends!! I couldn't really throw it through the break point it just kept coming back. So I adjusted surface a little bit using the "a" pad with neat finishing system and ball shape was identical to last years purple eagle. If you are going to Nationals, it is a must have in the bag and why wouldn't you, especially with the added bonus money 900 Global has added. It's a win win situation with taking this ball to nationals!

My black eagle is a great compliment to the original eagle. I layed this ball out with a 30X3.5X40. The ball also has a hole in the finger quadrant. It allows this ball to pick up in the midlane which helps read the pattern sooner. I have only put about 15 games on it and have no complaints about it. I used it in a tournament right after I drilled it and finished 4th and never switched balls. I kept chasing the shot left and the ball just kept coming back with no problem. The original eagle seem to be just a bit longer for me down lane but that probably has to do with the differing layouts on the ball. So if you threw the original eagle and liked it then the new black eagle is a great choice to get.

What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
We used my benchmark layout for this ball. Using the original Eagle released by 900 Global we assumed this ball would be pretty angular for a matte finished ball. We knew this ball would be able to handle more volume based on what it was made for.

What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
This ball holds nothing back. It really moves and was made for the volume put out at the Open Tournament. This ball is a must for anyone playing in the USBC National tournament. It will really allow you to open up and play whatever angle you choose. It gets down lane and sets up very nice to the pocket.

The ball really responds well to changes in hand position at release. By staying more up the back of the ball, you get a strong arcing motion down lane. If you change and come around the side of the ball it will really jump off the spot and be more angular.
