My bowling style is a power tweener. I'm right handed, and average 220.
This ball was surprisingly versatile for me. I have it drilled with the pin down, no balance hole so it can provide the natural length and a smooth continuous angle on the back end so its not as sharp off the break point.
The ball rolls incredibly smooth and on a typical house pattern, if I missed it left slightly, it had enough length with the oil to hold its line, conversely if I moved inside and opened the lanes up more, it retained enough energy to finish strong without dying out.
The reason for my purchase of this ball was to combat the carrydown lane conditions and this is perfect for that. I would say its a very solid medium oil ball and if you can break down the lanes after the first game or so, this would be perfect when the lanes began to transition, smooth through the front and angular on the backends. I pulled this ball out for the first time in league on my 3rd game and shot a 280. Exceptional ball, would recommend it for any serious bowler!

One problem that it had no holes to place your fingers, problem solved by the local pro-shop, it rolled down the alley without any difficult, had trouble finding single pins, shied away from trying to pick up splits. Maybe it can be trained better after a few more games, at this writing it only 5 games for training. Color stayed on nicely, small appetite for oil, would rather sit on the rack nestled up between other balls, didn't get dizzy when rolled, acted like it was gonna miss the head pin, then suddenly changed its mind and went for the head pin, seldom knocked all ten down at the same time. This is the first ball that had my average engraved (508).

My son is 13 years old. He went from his 12lb ball to the Track 508A ball (14lb)and has increased his average by 15 pins in the last 18 games. This ball is the real deal. Nice back end with 10 in the pits.

Wow, This is the first time that I have ever thrown a ball from track. I herd alot of good things about the 508A and went and got one. currently in my bag is a hammer orginal taboo, and a hammer brick. was using the taboo as my benchmark ball but that has changed now to the 508A. It does not matter where you stand on the lane, the 508a just comes to the pocket with authority...Thumbs up to track for this amazing product. It made me a believer and it will do the same to you... go get one!!!!

I recently had this ball drilled for length and strong backend hook. The lanes I play on are a perfect fit for this layout. It seems that no matter how far left I move, this ball never fails to bring itself back to the pocket. Absolutely one of the strongest balls I own. Not to mention it looks spectacular going down the lane.
I watched my average shoot up 20 pins over two weeks with this ball. I'd highly recommend this ball to anyone who wants to be a better bowler. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing. That is all that is needed for this ball. Have thrown it on two different house shots. Friday nights has more volume of oil that last longer and was able to use it a little more straighter than my sat night shot. Ball has amazing length easy through the heads no matter how they are. Great off the break point and I always knew how much it would come off the friction. Everyone needs a track 508A in their bag. A huge thumbs up for track on this one.
