What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
From the moment we saw this new high load particle ball from Lane #1 we knew we were going to need a layout to help the
ball store up some energy and get down the lane.

A ball like this is obviously meant for heavier volumes of oil and sometimes even on a THS (typical house shot) you can get too much motion too early and no completion on the back end.

The layout we chose should help this stronger core/cover get through the heads and save up some energy for the back end part of the lane. We still expect to see a decent amount of roll through the fronts and plenty of pick up in the mid-lane.

What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
I was pleasantly surprised by how much clearance I got with this ball. Even though we threw it on the fresh condition the ball got through the heads with ease. It picked up a very strong roll early but did not over react as soon as it hit the lane.

This allowed me to still play in a high scoring part of the lane and not get trapped in too deep too early. As the ball transitioned through the
heads into the middle part of the lane it was clean and strong. I was blown away by how much it had left on the back end.

What I ended up with was a very solid ball motion from front to back with enough power to blow the pins away. Every so often an aggressive, sanded ball comes along that really surprises you and the Maxxx Curve from Lane #1 was that ball for me.

The Maxxx Curve is a new release in an already successful line. The Pure Explosion particle pearl cover is wrapped around a strong asymmetric diamond core. This combination creates a aggressive but controllable ball motion on higher oil volumes. The Maxxx Curve is a ball to consider if you struggle on oily lanes.

Lane #1 Maxxx Curve is the new release in the Curve series. The Maxxx Curve has a heavy load particle with a Asymmetric core. What does that give you well how about HOOK with the roll you will get in the front there is not a heavy oil pattern that will stop your roll.

The Maxxx Curve is the third ball in the Curve line for Lane #1.The coverstock is a pearl particle material. This ball really shines on heavy oil conditions, but i was really suprised to find out that it reacts very well polished up as well. This is one of the most versatile balls ive seen in a while!Whether you want to line up outside with the ball polished or move inside with the oob finish at a tournament with heavy oil,one thing is for sure.If you want to Maxxx out your score do it with the Maxxx Curve. This is another great ball in the already popular lineup of Lane #1 balls!

The Maxxx curve is a great ball; very consistent, hits hard, and drives absolutely solid through the pocket. First game out the box, I shot a 268 with the last 10 in a row. Since then I've averaged over 220 with it. What few corner pins I've left have never been flat; the 6 just exploded up and around the 10. My main recomendation is to not be afraid to keep the revs up. Stay aggressive and there's no limit as to how many strikes you can string together.

About The Bowler:

The Lane #1 Maxxx Curve is truly a great ball. I own the original Curve and love it's length, back end reaction and hitting power. With the new Maxxx Curve, it was expecting more overall hook potential with the continued legendary Lane #1 hitting power...the Maxxx Curve definately lived up to expectations.

For my style, being a higher rev player, I've found that I needed to add some Lane #1 Secret Sauce "polish" to the ball when I am using it on typical house shots. Lane #1 balls are always great when it comes to surface prep and alteration and this ball is no different. The Secret Sauce gives me the extra length I need to get the ball down the lane and then the ball dynamics take over and...its over for the pins. So far, I would have to say I have not seen better "carry" in any other ball. Hitting the pocket results in a strike. No taps, corner pins...etc. Its a very powerful, very dynamic bowling ball. I would recommend this ball to anyone looking to upgrade their arsenal.

The Lane #1 Maxxx Curve has a pearl particle coverstock. I threw it at box finish which I thought would be too much surface, but surprisingly on a typical house shot it stored a lot of energy and got through the heads easily before making a strong arcing backend motion. Compared to other dull finished balls the Maxxx Curve doesn't burn up and quit on the backend, it has one continuous motion through the pocket. Overall it was about 5 boards stronger than my Big Curve, but it was a touch longer and more angular than the Big Curve. It is a great ball for a typical house shot, I just needed to bump inside and play about 25 to 10. I would highly recommend this ball for tournament and sport conditions with heavier volumes of oil. Of course surface adjustments can always be made to this ball depending on what kind of lane conditions you bowl on. Overall it is a must have ball for any style of bowler.

This ball really cuts thru the oil, but still has plenty of movement on the back-end. I like the particle pearl cover which is matte finish. If it hooks to early just polish it and you will get more length with a stronger movement on the back-end.
