You're game is getting ready to Break Out!!

Pin to PAP(5 1/8" over 1/8" up) - 5 1/2"
Mass Bias Position - 4 1/2" from PAP
CG Placement - lower right quadrant
Balance Hole - none

Surface Preparation - Out of Box (4000 grit Abralon)

What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
When I heard we were testing a Break Out I knew right away which layout I would use based on my Break S75 that I absolutely loved. I knew there were big differences in the ball but when I have good luck with a ball and a layout and we are doing another ball in the same line, I figure it should give me a good comparison for the test.

The 5 1/2" pin to PAP under my middle finger usually provides me with the length I need to allow the ball to store up energy for a strong and angular backend motion.

What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
I ended up with exactly what I thought I would. The ball was an absolute truck for me. Through the heads the ball rolled stronger then any other 900 Global ball without reading any friction too much. As it transitioned into the mids the ball held the line and seemed to rev up more. The motion on the back was exactly what I loved about my S75 but stronger and more angular.

The strength of the ball in the heads and mid lane combined with the pop I got on the back allowed me to play anywhere I wanted. I could get the ball to stay on line and play straighter up the track area of the lane or get inside of it and loop the ball from gutter to gutter.

The thing I thought that was so cool about this ball was the day after we tested it, I was thinking about how good it was and how I must have just assumed it would be good because it did not surprise me the night before.

Since then I have thrown it a few more times in some testing to compare to other balls and I ahve to say that this ball will hold its own against some of the most popular balls on the market today.

If you have had some good luck with 900 Globals balls in the past, I would definitely look at the Break Out.

One of my favorite bowling balls to date. The 900 Global Break Out was very smooth and allowed me to play my favorite angle on the shot we use. Using this line I can normally have the most flexibility based on lane conditions, moving out when the lane is playing tighter (heavier oil) and moving in when the backends are snappier.

This was a very smooth rolling ball that hits hard on the backend, driving through the pin deck.

If you're looking for a versatile ball, take a look at the 900 Global Break Out.

About the Bowler

900 Global's new high performance ball is the Break Out. This ball travels down the lane very easy and has a very angular motion at the break point. My customers have told me that love this ball because of the variety of lane conditions they could use it on.

If your looking for a ball that will give good length and a lot of flip on the back-end then you should get the 900 Global Break Out. This ball is will flip hard on the back-end and is made for medium-heavy lane conditions.

Out of the box. Pin over finger and MB kick out. The ball should be go long and with an angular motion at the break point. The lane is medium oil with some carry down on the side.

The result is that the ball is not angular that I thought, but very contorlable on the break point. Easy contorl, adject and very smooth roll.

About the Bowler

I drilled up my Break Out roughly 5 ¼ x 4 ½ with the pin just above my ring finger and no extra hole. This is pretty much my go to layout. After just a few shots with this ball I knew it was going to be something special!

This ball is the perfect first ball out of the bag for me. It gives me plenty of roll in the midlane with the low RG core and moderately strong cover. It doesn’t over react off the dry and the back end continuation is amazing. I can get the ball to do basically whatever I want it to by changing rev rate and axis rotation. The ball reaction is sort of like a cross between the V2 and the Special Agent is the best way I can describe it.

I’ve also used this ball at both 1000 abralon and 4000 abralon and gotten significantly more length and back end out of the 4000 finish. This cover is very tunable. This is easily one of the most versatile, and just flat out most amazing bowling balls I’ve ever thrown!

The Break out is one of the most versatile balls in Global's current releases. Very clean through the fronts with a strong and continuous ball motion. The Break Out is a great benchmark ball for almost all styles due to its predictability.

Great Ball, I got one of these for attending Super School in Vegas and had it punched there. Ball goes long and then BAM sharp turn to the pocket and hits very hard. Takes surface adjustments very well also. Very versatile ball. This is my first Global 900, but probably wont be my last.
