When you first get a brand new ball drilled up, you're always amazed at the reaction. You clean your ball every time you finish bowling, but somewhere along the line it starts to lose a little bit of the luster, of the punch it used to have. Well why is that? Over time your ball will get tiny scratches and dings in the coverstock that, even if you can't really notice them, will affect the performance of your ball. After rolling so many games oil will enter the surface of the ball and the coverstock will lose some of it's bite. In order to bring it back you need a fresh layer of coverstock, and the only way to do that is by resurfacing. When you resurface you remove that oil soaked top layer of surface and restore the covers rigidity which will revive the reaction of the ball. So if your ball has lost some of its reaction don't be afraid to resurface!

The resurfacing brought the ball back to life and saved a $200 ball that I was going to trash, AND was told to by my pro shop. The pro shop refused to resurface it because they said it was a waste of money. I almost believed them. I found the bowlingball.com service available and gave it a shot. I was most pleased with the price, turnaround and quality of the overall experience. Bowlingball.com now drills all of my stuff. They do a great job.

Also found out that they have technicians on staff that will answer any question you have without having to wait for the pro shop to open or come back in "15 minutes"

HIGHLY Recommend. Very pleased.

I was looking for a way to save some money and not have to purchase a new bowling ball. My local shop charges $25 and is hardly open plus I am not sure that he knows how to bring it back to factory.

Bought the bowlingball.com resurfacing deal and had the call tag right away. UPS got the ball and bowlingball.com resurfaced it and had it back to me in 4 days, 3 days less than what my pro shop wanted.

The ball feels and reacts like the day I bought it. Saved quite a bit of money and the service was top notch.

Highly recommend. 100% satisfaction.

As always bowlingball.com did a GREAT job.
With the price including shipping both ways, local pro-shops can't beat the price and quality. The total turn-around time was about two weeks.
You can't beet that.

I probably need to do this once a year with my Wrecker and Scout. The service they offer here is an exceptional value, and the turnaround time is as fast as it gets. I highly recommend the service.

My ball wont hook anymore, I clean it and clean it... but there's just nothing there anymore, what should I do?...we in the shop constantly get this on a daily basis, the answer to your question is to get your ball resurfaced, what that means is we use the abralon pads that we sell on Bowlingball.com and normally depending on how bad the ball is conditioned will take it all the way down to 180 grit or 360 grit and bring it back up to OOB (Out Of Box) finish, this means the ball should react better and you should see the motion of the ball and the amount of hook it has be similar to when you first purchased it, this is a great service and should always be done about every 40-60 games.
