The Ringer Platinum Pearl - Another Great Look From Brunswick

Pin to PAP(5 1/8" over 1/8" up) - 4 1/4"
Dual Angle Layout - 65* x 4 1/4" x 65*
Balance Hole - n/a

Surface Preparation - Out of Box (500 Siaair Micro Pad, Royal Compound, Royal Shine)

What I Was Looking For In This Ball Layout:
The Ringer Platinum Pearl is supposed to offer a longer, cleaner look then the original Ringer allowing bowlers to play further right on the fresh or have a better look for when they burn up.

I went with a pretty simple pin down layout on mine. I expect to see plenty of differences from this ball to the Ringer based on layouts alone. I am expecting a longer look with a strong motion off the break point.

What I Ended Up With in the Ball and Layout:
The Ringer Platinum Pearl reacted awesome. I feel this release really helps round out the most recent releases from Brunswick giving you three totally different motions in three price points.

Off my hand the Ringer Platinum was much cleaner then the Ringer was. It cleared the heads with ease and was not phased by any early friction.

As the ball cleared it set up for a really strong backend, a little stronger then I was expecting but it was welcomed. I was able to play a part of the lane that I normally cant play with this type of ball and not lose any hitting power.

Overall another really solid release and definitely a contender in this performance group.
