Defiant Soul was one of the releases I was most looking forward to. For those of you who know me I drilled up three regular Defiants and 2 Defiant Edge bowling balls and loved all of them. The Soul is without a doubt extremely versatile and takes great to surface changes depending on the conditions and house you are bowling in. When polished the Soul picks up earlier than the edge and maintains backend reaction. When scuffed or out of the box the Soul picks up earlier than the edge, pushes further down lane than the original Defiant but picks up with a sharper backend reaction. This ball, just like its predecessors, doesn't lack in hitting power and has excellent continuation through the pins. One of the hardest hitting most versatile balls on the market today in my opinion. You will love one as well, maybe two. Keep up the good work Roto.
