I bought this ball for one reason, long heavy oil, so that is what I got it drilled for. It is a compliment to my Critical Theory and it did not disappoint. On a USBC White pattern the ball would easily push through all of the oil and come back from almost anywhere on the lane, it was AWESOME! Never blew through a break point and did a lot to recover for operator error, even with my very strong drilling.
With a weaker drilling I'm sure it could also be a great house shot ball with a strong backend motion to destroy pins, but with the strength of my drilling after 1 game the ball hits so hard that I left three 9 pins in a row and put the ball away in favor of a weaker ball.
If you are looking for a ball that will dominate on long and heavy oil, this is a must have for your bag.
