The maxxed-out is a great compliment to the versa-max. The maxxed-out is a stronger ball that can handle the heavier oil conditions. It reads the midlane and starts up a little sooner than the versa-max with a continous roll, approximately 4 boards stronger. With the box 4000 surface on the solid coverstock, it cuts through the oil and continues downlane. I have taken it to 2000, and it didn't over react even with my higher rev rate. I have this ball drilled to be my heavy oil ball and it hasn't dissapointed me yet. I can use this ball on house shots or kegel oil patterns. Also, I can use this ball to open up the lane and keep moving left to chase the oil. If you are looking for a heavier oil condition ball, then the maxxed-out is a great choice.
