Innovate clears the front end of the lane and still provides a strong and predictable back end motion. The Innovate does not over skid in the mid lane like previous Ebonite pearl releases. The hook shape is like a strong banana shape. I am a tweener with 17 mph speed, 320 rev rate and 10 degrees of tilt. This ball was drilled 65 by 4 3/4 by 45 with the dual angle method. The pin is 3 3/4 above center of grip and there is no balance hole. I have used the Innovate on a 38 foot THS and a 44 foot flat pattern. The only time the ball reacted poorly was on house shot with a burned up head condition.
I have used the Innovate in its box condition on all conditions. Performance was good playing straighter up the lane as well as slow hooking it from inside angles.
