Only show reviews for DV8 Hell Raiser Revenge
I am a DV8 staffer, and want to say that the Hell Raiser Revenge is the most aggresive ball that I have ever had. I have drilled 2 of these one pin up and one pin down. They both are really aggressive and my pin up I have the surface 4000 and the pin down the same sufface as it was out of the box.
I am left handed, and I am a stroker. I have 1 pba regional title. my ball speed is around 16 mph. I am going to give a ball review for both Hell Raiser Revenges.
The first review is my pin up with a 2 1/2" pin. The Pin is above my ring finger with the CG kicked to the left alittle. I have the surface at 4000. The condition I am reviewing it on is the Mexico City pattern. The Pattern is really tight and I tried original Hell Raiser but it would not come up at all. I was playing around 10 board. I went to the Hell Raiser Revenge and I had reaction and I had about 4 boards of hook. I could leak it to the left and it would come back. The next condition I tried this ball on was our leage shot and the shot is the USBC Blue Pattern. I usually play 10 to 5 with the Hell Raiser, and when I tried the Hell Raiser Revenge I have to play 18 to 5. The lane surface is Synthetic. I have shot a 300 with this ball 2 weeks ago.
The next review is with my pin down and a 2" pin. The pin is below my ring finger and is stacked. The surface is out of the box finish which is 2000. I have used this ball when my Pin up goes to long and need the ball to roll earlier. I use this ball on longer patterns like the Mexico City, and also the Shark Pattern. This ball so so versitle that I will probably get a couple more and changet the drilling.
What I have done this year with my new balls is drill 2 of them and drill one pin up, and then drill one pin down. It has worked great so far this year. If you have a ball that is working really good and has a good reaction, and if you get some carry down or the oil goes away you can change to the other one and still get the good carry. Sometime when you change to another ball you might not get the carry then you were with the ball you started. You can work with the surfaces on both, but I recommend if you can to do this.
DV8 this year has come out with excellent balls and I love everyone of them. If you want a ball that hooks a lot and hits hard, you need to get a HELL RAISER REVENGE!!!
Thanks DV8 for coming out with such great balls!
