This glove is both a great glove to enhance your grip on the bowling ball, and a good sturdy wrist support. I'm a beginner with a tendency to throw too hard and break my wrist. This glove slowed me down and kept my wrist straight, finally throwing a good consistent hook. Takes about a game or two to get used of the feel. The confidence of a consistent grip and wrist position has only been increasing my average.
