I am 61 y.o. and bowl in three leagues. My average is from 198 to 207 depending on the league. I read the reviews and watched the pros rolling this ball on TV. I had been using a ball that had a perfect scale rating of 206. It has taken me a couple of weeks to get a good track on the Nexus Solid and learn to trust it with the speed required to keep it from going high. I think I got it figured out. This week I rolled a 706, 732, and 744. That is an avg. of 242 and it is more than luck. I am a tweener with about avg. ball speed with decent reps but definitely not a power bowler like the young guys. On a normal THS I stand at the last board on the left, roll it two boards inside the left arrow toward the 10 pin. The ball usually begins to hook at about the 5 board and slams the pocket consistently. I leave very few 10 pins any more. I highly recommend this ball to anyone who knows the game and has the speed to let it work. I have a lot bowlers ordering this ball now because they have seen what it does.
