Only show reviews for Storm Virtual Gravity NANO Pearl
As a relatively newcomer to the sport, I have been experimenting with a lot of balls recently in order to find something that really compliments my technique.
Over the past year, I have developed an affection towards the Storm line, and have always expected great things from their products. At first, I had done a lot of research into the original Virtual Gravity Nano. A few guys in my leagues roll them, and the reviews couldn't be better. My only concern, however, was that the performance of that ball might tend to be too aggressive as the lanes breakdown, and a ball that could carry on both fresh and worn conditions was something I was most interested in. Enter the Virtual Gravity Nano Pearl.
When I heard of this balls release, I couldn't wait to get my hands on one. Once I got it on the lanes, my anticipation turned to excitement! This ball was everything that I had expected and more!
Being a pearl coverstock, I knew that the ball would go longer and snap harder than the traditional finish...especially on fresh conditions. What I witnessed was in fact a beautiful combination of both a hard back end snap, and a slight gradual arch as it broke towards the pocket midway down the lane.
I am by no means a cranker. In fact, I feel that I get slightly less revs on the ball than even your average bowler, however, this ball gave me the performance I was looking for!
Furthermore, as the lanes continued to break down, I was still able to keep great control of the ball, without having to move too far to the left.
In my opinion, this is a tremendously versatile ball, that gives you just the right amount of aggressiveness, with all of the control on almost any condition!
